  Stumbled upon Credo today with my mom when we shopping around Williamsburg. I had never been into the shop before but recognized so many of the clean brands I love, all in one place. My mom and I were for looking for some skincare and makeup we were helped by Alicia and Devon. Both of them took the time to show us and explain multiple products. They were both friendly and extremely helpful. We ended up leaving with a bag full of new products that we are excited to try.

  I’ve come back to this location when I’m nearby just because of Devin! He’s always super kind, helpful and just all around great. Give him all the things- like a bonus, a raise… something! lol seriously though 👀 Beyond that this location is pretty convenient, parking isn’t very hard to find on a weekend and when I’ve gone there for something specific from fragrances to foundation, it’s always been in-stock. Everyone my friends and I have interacted with here has been helpful and authentically kind to the point that I actually prefer to shop in-person vs online. =]

  I just left the store, and I’m honestly very disappointed by the way I was treated. The woman at the counter with very short hair was extremely rude to me and this happened right in front of my boyfriend, which made it even more upsetting. I’m a local customer and regularly buy your products, so I was surprised by the treatment I received. I was simply asking a polite question about the sample applicator, which wasn’t working properly. I asked, “Is the product not coming out properly because it’s just a sample, or is it the same with the actual one?” Her response was loud, dismissive, and frankly unprofessional: “If you don’t feel it, don’t buy it then.” I felt completely dismissed and disrespected. I left the store feeling genuinely upset, and I did not deserve that kind of attitude especially as a loyal customer. Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning to that store or purchasing the product again!

  Devin and Marisol are THE BEST! It was my first time at Credo and they were extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. You can tell they are both super passionate about beauty. Also, Marisol has such a beautiful aura. Definitely coming back to take Devin’s makeup class!

  I was really excited to check this place out, but the customer service was really disappointing! The person working the front counter was very brash and uppity and unpleasant. Definitely not a place for a beginner looking for a welcoming opportunity to spend money on a starter set.
