- SKSherry King3 days ago1.0I am 78 years old and this is the worst haircut of my life. I asked Jennifer for a Mohawk. I told her I wanted the top wide and it to taper to a V in the back. I told her I wanted the top 1 3/4 inches in length. I told her to use a #2 guide on the clippers. I don't know how I could have been more specific. When I got home and looked in the mirror I was horrified. The top is 3/4 inches long. The V in the back is off center by over an inch. I have completely bald spots over and around my ears and on my neckline. She did not buzz it to the Mohawk line on the sides and hair gets longer towards the top. I went back the next day. When I walked in Jennifer glanced at me then ducked her head. I spoke with another stylist who said she could try to fix it. I laughed and said, "I want to see how you're going to put my hair back." I got my money back but that doesn't help. It will take a minimum of 2 1/2 months to grow it back to where I am not too embarrassed to go out. I will never go back to Great Clips.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
