- GSGlos sFeb 27, 20261.0I visited this salon two days ago for the first time. After waiting, I was called by a woman with long black hair, probably in her early fifties. I am not sure but she looked Hispanic. I sat in the chair, and she looked at my hair and complimented it, saying how beautiful and thick it was. Then she immediately started cutting it — without wetting it. My hair is naturally curly and was a bit frizzy that day. I assumed she would wet it before cutting, as that is standard practice, especially with curly hair. Instead, she began taking random sections and cutting them while it was completely dry. I asked her if she normally cuts hair dry, and she responded that she was only cutting the front to see how it would look, and that she might wet it when cutting the back. However, she continued cutting all of my curly hair completely dry, with no visible technique — just grabbing random sections and cutting. I will try to post some photos to see how my hair looks like now This is the result now after washing and styling it myself. My hair is completely ruined. I had an important appointment tomorrow and was preparing for it, but unfortunately I won’t even be able to wear my hair down. My long, thick hair has been destroyed. It feels thinner to the touch. I truly believe she should not be cutting hair. I will never return to this place and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
