- LCLori Heather Cisneros6 days ago1.0I went in with my hair down to my mid back (bra strap) length. I asked for a long layered bob cut. I told her I definitely wanted to make sure I could wear my hair up in a ponytail and I wanted some height on the crown. I have said this to other hairstylists and never heard this before that in order to have height on my crown she needed to cut the back shorter because that is what gives your crown height. I ended up up almost in tears when got home because I could not put it up at any angle without hair falling out all over. I could not style or curl it because the layers were all UNEVEN. One side of my hair was visibly shorter on one side of my head and she said she had to do that because I parted my hair on the side. When I called to the next day to get a refund, I was told they would not give me a refund without seeing the cut in person (no photos) so I had to drive back and coordinate a time to meet with Patty the manager. She told me she could even it out and not take any more length off since I was already upset it was way shorter than I asked. She did only make it shorter and now I can not do anything with my hair but put it up in 2 tight, short ponytails and wait what will likely be months for it to grow out and they did not give me back my money for ruining my hair. She didn't even offer me the refund for my troubles or wasted time. I do not recommend going here. It is like taking a gamble with your hair by having a high school student use you as a guinea pig or test monkey!

He was very meticulous and made sure to ask me for feedback multiple times throughout the cut to make sure he was cutting my hair as requested. I really appreciated that when I explained what I was wanting Ricky repeated it so I had full confidence he understood what I was looking for. He is also a wonderful conversationalist and very friendly. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thank you Ricky!

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
