“The Shop” officially opened on May 15th and guests can now book in for appointments. The Shop is truly unique as it’s the only tattoo parlor of it's kind operating in a museum and it’s contribution to making the museum a tactile, hands on experience cannot be denied.
Met with Alex and talked about a super meaningful tattoo for my husband. We gave a deposit and agreed to meet at Scorpion Moon tattoo at 1pm on Thursday. As we are out of towners we checked Google and it said the shop opened at noon and walk ins were welcomed. We decided to go at noon and maybe I would get something while we waited for Alex. To our disappointment the shop was closed. We made several attempts to contact both the shop and Alex from noon till the owner showed up at 12:45. After yet another attempt to contact Alex he finally called my husband at 1:00 to say he woke up not feeling well and he was not going to make it. It would have been nice to know that at 9, 10, 11, or 12. Not only are we angry with the lack of professionalism but also heartbroken that he would do that knowing what it meant to us. I would NOT recommend Alex M for a tattoo if you need someone accountable. Very hurtful and disgusting way to treat people

Alex @the shop at the punk rock museum was amazing. Walked me through what size and position would be best for me. His lines and shading work is on point. My new art is fabulous and have received a ton of compliments. If you are thinking of getting new ink I would highly recommend seeing Alex.

My husband and I got some super cool Distillers and Bad Religion flash by Alex Moretti. We has just done our wedding ceremony at the punk rock museum the night before, and came back to tour the exhibits. We stopped in hoping that there would be availability, and luckily there was. He was literally the coolest guy I've ever met, super chill, made the whole experience 1000 times better than we had anticipated. We'll definitely be stopping in again next time we're in town. Every interaction with everyone at the Punk Rock Museum really made it super special.

My new husband and I got married in Vegas, and decided to get some tattoos here. We had Alex and he was incredible! The tattoos were beyond what we expected, and it was the best tattoo experience either of us has had. We hope to travel back again one day to see him again. It'll be a lovely experience that we will never forget, even if we didn't have the beautiful art to remember it by 🥰
