I recently had a massage at this venue. While the treatment itself was adequate, the overall experience was significantly marred by the staff's attitude.
When asked for feedback, I politely pointed out that the towels provided were dry, making them ineffective for removing oils and lotions. This is a basic standard if a venue provides towel to clean.
Instead of professional acknowledgment, the front desk response was dismissive, bordering on disrespectful, with sarcastic comments and eye-rolling observed. This lack of professionalism detracts from any potential relaxation. A truly premium establishment should prioritize customer respect and proper service recovery.

I had an amazing massage experience with Eli. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and truly understands how everything connects. His intuitive approach really sets him apart — he seems to instinctively know exactly where tension is being held and how to address it effectively.
Eli creates a comfortable, relaxing environment and takes the time to understand your needs. His skill, awareness, and natural intuition make every session both therapeutic and deeply restorative. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a massage therapist who is not only highly trained but also genuinely in tune with their clients.

am a regular client and a paying member at Now Massage, and after this experience I will seriously reconsider ever returning.
I have even purchased an additional $500 in gift credit on top of my membership because I genuinely believed in this business. Unfortunately, the way I was treated by Alisa completely changed my perception.
I had a massage booked and called to ask if I could start slightly earlier because I needed to visit someone in the hospital that evening. I completely understood when they said no — that wasn’t the issue. So I cancelled.
However, I immediately felt awful about losing the money (as they charge your card straight away), so I called back just 45 minutes later to reinstate the appointment. I was told the spot had already been filled and that I was not entitled to a refund or even a reschedule.
So let me get this straight — they kept my money AND filled my time slot with another paying client? That means they effectively made double money on the same appointment. As a loyal member who has invested hundreds of dollars into this business, that feels unethical and opportunistic.
What made it worse was Alisa’s customer service. She was dismissive and at one point even told me I wasn’t allowed to express how I felt to her. That is completely unacceptable. Customers should never be spoken to that way — especially long-term members.
Policies are one thing. Humanity and customer care are another.
This experience felt transactional, cold, and frankly greedy. I expected better from a company I have supported financially and recommended to others.
Extremely disappointing.
I’ve been a loyal member to the Now Massage in Tivoli for over a year now. While the massage therapists themselves are great, the remaining team members are not what you would expect for the money you are paying. I booked my massage well in advance and received multiple confirmations of my massage at the booked time. The morning of the massage, the staff called and informed me the time changed with no prior notice to me. The staff did not immediately take accountability and suggested I made the error. After further conversations, they recognized they made the error and neglected to inform me until it was too late. Their remedy was to simply rebook at another date vs offer a refund or complimentary massage credit, not holding themselves to the same cancellation and notification standards that they hold their clients to. I highly recommend taking recurring massage memberships elsewhere, especially if you’re expecting the customer service that a membership of this price warrants.
