Our manufacturing facilities are located on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh, as well as the lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat. I stopped by Lush to get myself a little something after a rough couple of days that I’ve had. I have been to multiple locations over the years and I was looking for some new bath bombs when I overheard a sales associate helping another customer. There was a little bit of a language barrier because the customer didn’t speak any English and the sweetest sales associate was communicating with her in Spanish! I thought to myself how sweet that was that that customer could be helped directly without any issue. When the sales associate was finished with the other customer I asked her for help picking out a bath bomb for me but wanted to stray from my usual favorite. I believe her name might have been Tess or Jess? (Sorry if she’s reading this, you were so sweet but I am terrible with names!!) We started chatting and I brought up the fact that she was so accommodating speaking Spanish with the other customer and she told me that she is starting to learn other languages along with ASL too! She said that she wants to make all customers feel included and by doing these small steps she feels that she can provide a better customer experience! I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a dedicated employee and sweet young lady. She continued to help me with my purchase while we chatted and made my shopping experience and my day as a whole so much better! I will definitely be back to this location because she truly inspired me along with providing such an enjoyable shopping trip. She made my day and I felt the need to let everyone know!
