- JJJudithJan 16, 20261.0I went to Great Clips on Trop and Jones. There was only one "stylist" there. He was a little old man with a bleached blonde uncombed mullet. That should have been a clue,but I just respected his tastes. Wrong move. I asked for him to cut my very long hair into a shoulder length bob. He worked on my cut for less than 5 minutes and blew it out into a messy half wet look. It looked ok when I left,mostly because I took my glasses off so he could do an even cut. When I got home and brushed it down , it was 5 different levels of hair that looked like he cut it with pinking shears,including stragglers everywhere that were at least an inch longer than the supposed bob. The back is 1 inch longer than the front.One side has been chopped way different than the other side. A disaster. This is the worst cut I have ever had including when I let a family member trim my hair. I guess you get what you pay for. I gave him a 10 dollar tip that he didn't deserve. Don't choose this shop if you want to get a decent cut. You might draw him and you won't be pleased at the outcome.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
