Attitude of the people that work there are not great always a long wait if there isn’t a wait they’re seemingly seems to always be awake when you get there. Just not a good operation. She was nice told me they weren’t busy if I could come now. I arrive sat in the waiting area, there’s 2 ladies cutting hair and a man with his 3 sons also waiting. That was no problem. I didn’t mind waiting. The lady, I spoke with stops her haircut and comes to greet me. While the other lady I believe named is Amy looks up and shouts from the back over her client in the chair “no I’m not cutting that” I proceeded to say excuse me, as she’s looking at my children. Mind you no body addressed her or spoke to her prior. She continues to shout across the room how she’s not cutting my kids hair she can’t do that cut etc. I say 1. No one asked you 2. You didn’t even ask what they want to say you can’t do that cut.. as they just wanted to clean their lines up for 1st day of school. Not even a cut. I explained I called let the other lady know exactly what I wanted she says that’s fine come in & when we walk in you see them and immediately shout no without saying hello or anything. I ask why she reacted that way she says I just mean I can’t cut curl. Again they just wanted line ups no curls to be touched. We ended up leaving as I refused to subject my children to her ignorance further. As we leave my 11yr old says mom the boy sitting there had curly hair. I was so upset I didn’t notice. I go back to get the regional managers info from the other lady & ask is it because they are biracial & Amy shouts again “I mean I don’t cut their texture.” Again no one asked her to as she’s not who I spoke with. This was the most unprofessional, blatant racism I have ever experienced. If she felt she couldn’t cut a certain texture even though I was not working with her she could’ve approached me rather than shouting across the room making my children feel bad about themselves. My kids are Portuguese & African American. If you have any slight mixture to you or texture in your hair, I highly suggest you don’t approach Amy. Looking through all the bad reviews and how often her name is mentioned I don’t understand why she still works there.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
