  I will never go back to this location. I am 7 weeks postpartum already dealing with postpartum hair loss and hormone disruption and the girl that botched my beautiful blonde hair that’s taken me 7 years to grow just about sent me over the edge with the botch job she did on my hair. I ultimately wound up going to a different location to try to salvage what I could, only to still have uneven layers in the back. I’m beyond upset. I went in just to have a trim and little bit of texture added to my hair, only to end up with an almost chin length bob (she took about 2 inches off my ends, and to salvage my hair, another 2 inches had to be cut - my hair was past my shoulders when I initially came in). Do not go to this location.

  Horrible, she was so busy answering phones and dealing with walking she wasn’t listening to the way we were explaining the way my son needed his hair cut. We will not be back. Their time and energy needs to be on the customer in front of them. Everyone is to busy talking and not working. My son’s hair was butchered and looks ridiculous.

  So, after a long day of excitement to get my hair cut with coupon in hand. I arrived at the store where I helped usher in a wife who was helping her disabled husband into the location. Still excited, patient and having a chill moment to end the day. Standing in the front was Savannah, a tattooed up cosmetician in taking customers as one would expect as I patiently waiting for the couple whom I just assisted go before me. The wife also requested a particular stylist to cut her husband's hair and that stylist agreed. Next come me. I politely informed Savannah that I have a coupon for a haircut but I wanted to know if there was anyone experienced with cutting African American people hair which is fair to ask and she tells me "all hair is the same, there's no difference so we we all cut hair". I smiled , then stated not all all hair is the same as our texture hair is differentand then I asked her if she'd ever cut a African American person's hair because if not, can I have someone experienced with cutting our hair so they'll understand how I want it cut. She rushes back to who seems like the manager, whispered something to her and now all the stylist came together to meet and Savannah returned stating that they all cut hair, however she did not address my original question so I asked again, is there anyone who has experience cutting African American hair and if not it's cool because I can get it done somewhere else as I don't want my hair messed up. Then Savannah then shells out, "I don't feel comfortable cutting your hair" in front of everyone including the customers which was embarrassing and made it seem as if she was a victim of my questioning and I was somehow an angry black man, which clearly I wasn't going to let her cut my hair which is why I requested someone else. The an elderly stylist suggested I go to a barbershop which was weird. I changed myind about getting service there but nothing more worse than asking if a stylist can give you a certain cut and vicariously refusing to answer the question directly. This was a very bad and embarrassing experience for me and even with a coupon, I don't think Great Clips deserves my business or my money. I'll be sure to spread the word.
