  I got a haircut by Kaylen today and she was spot on with detailing my short cut, she was so pleasant and professional and listened to exactly what I wanted to achieve and even had her own suggestions to get the cut I didn’t know I needed 😂 it’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy with a haircut Thanks Kaylen I can’t wait to see you again JC Penny Salon is lucky to have you and I’m so glad I found you

  Do not get box braids here. Stylist are arrogant and do not want to admit that they do not have as much skill as they think they do. They do a decent job on trims and natural hair styles without extensions. Too much gossip and bad talking other employees and customers here. Not a relaxing experience.

  This review is for blondes and those hoping to become one. Don't bother. Keep scrolling for another salon. Otherwise you will waste your money , your time and you will sacrifice your hair to a place that does not even know how to obtain the correct formula for a blonde. I should have just walked out when I arrived for check in. I was informed by the stylist she was not going to be able to color my hair. A conflict of time. I request my roots be done along with a toner. Only 2 hours were booked and she said it would take longer. Okay was my response. The stylist, actually the two stylists I was given had no idea how to combine a mix to lighten my roots and could not agree how long or how many times to apply the solution. One tech told me as she was applying that she was going to be taking an online class later in the month on how to do blonde hair!! The worst is yet to come in this review, after rinsing out the product and seeing you guess it orange hue on my head she proclaimed it looks great. I asked what happened with the toner, why had it not worked? The technician said oh I didn't put toner in your hair I added extra product to lighten it more!! I kept just breathing, and politely requested toner be applied to my orange hair. So heed my warning or you too will walk out with your blonde hue looking like the latest anime character.

  Great place to get your hair and eyebrows done. The only problem is the can't keep there styles to stay. Go to the same one maybe 7 or 8 times if that, and they leave. They don't take care of there own. But other than that it's a nice place to go..
