- FGFernando GarciaDec 31, 20251.0Walked in and was greeted as usual, as most if not all Great Clips do. My styleist was Kim older dark, hair, and thin. She was kind of pleasant and asked how I wanted my cut since the paper print-out from last time was wrong. I showed her where to start the #1 fade. She did that fine, but then she cut too much into the length I specifically asked her not to touch while she was using the clippers. Then she starts working on the back of my head and says she's done? She's done??? Never asked how I wanted my neckline. She showed me with the mirror and see that she had rounded it out and cut it in about an inch or more above my actual hairline in the back! I told her she should have asked, and she said it looks fine and that they usually go higher. What?! I repeated myself, saying no matter what she thought, she should've asked. She just argued her point that it looks "good," completely ignoring that I was displeased. No apology, no offer to fix it. How is that customer service? She mentioned she came in at 1 p.m., and the lobby was empty, but I felt she rushed through it. I had a bad feeling and should have waited for a different stylist. Absolutely never going back!!! Rarely do I leave reviews and more rare bad ones.

I don’t want single out a specific stylist as I believe I have been in the chair for all of them. The entire staff has done a fantastic job, and they are always friendly and professional. No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
