  Hi this is long overdue but I needed to write this review about Anthony. In the year and a half that I have been coming to him to get my hair done I can’t really say anything negative about him. He is someone who is eager to please and is very caring and very honest almost to a fault which in this day and age is extremely rare. He is a good communicator a good listener and extremely patient. He honestly has the patience of a saint and does a good job explaining at what is possible and what isn’t. Every time I came to him it was for long layers and a face frame and I have curly hair. He explained to me that losing some length in the front for it to blend is a natural process because my previous hairdresser would always leave me with a short step in the front and it would be completely detached his attention to detail is what have me come to him for all of these months. Not to mention his outstanding double process colors in which he would take my jet black hair and transform it to a lovely dark blonde sand color. For as long as he lives in Santa Fe he is my hair guy. I hope he realizes that his efforts don’t go unnoticed.

  Probably will never go back. I walked in with hair to my butt and walked out with hair to my shoulders even tho I specifically asked for the length not to be cut. The excuse was it had to be blended for the layers I had asked for but I’ve been getting the same style of hair cut for years and no one has ever “blended” and access of 8+ inches of hair off! And also this wasn’t said BEFORE the cut only told to me after it was already chopped. Also I specifically asked for my hair not to be blow dryed as I was coming home to dye it anyways and the stylist asked if he could do it quickly to see how the hair was going to fall not letting my know that was an extra charge. I’m so very upset and unhappy. Yes hair is just hair it will grow back but this was not okay and will probably take me over a year to grow back if not much longer! I didn’t say much while I was there partly because I was in shock at the result but also because I’m pregnant and emotional and didn’t want to make a scene in front of the 2 little girls that were also there getting their hair cut. My suggestion spend your money on someone that will actually listen and not just do what they want. Absolutely unacceptable!

  I have been blessed finding Anthony! I had a long time hairdresser at Penney’s she passed away, I was devastated , Anthony has saved me and will be his client forever! His personality is awesome we laugh and enjoy each other’s company.
