- KJKeenan JAug 27, 20251.0Came in for a quick cut. I had asked for collar bone length, layers and that I wanted my side bangs trimmed. My stylist seemed like he was bothered, like he didn’t want to be there. I also asked for a wash, since I know my hair is thick and would need the sink anyway. He was aggressive with the washing. I felt like a burden. When we went to walk away he was short, uncommunicative, and just didn’t care. Here comes the worst part. He didn’t give me layers. He gave me a shelf, and the shelf had choppy layers. To the point there is some hair that is SHORTER than my actual bang. He was aggressive with his brush/comb. He didn’t ask how long I wanted my shortest layer, or what my hair type was to ensure the best cut. I have naturally curly hair, but had come in with it straightened. At the end, he asked “that looks fine ma’am?” As if I could tell with it wet. It was way shorter in the layers than I had envisioned. And I left feeling like a long haired boy. I tried to be positive, maybe it would be better once dried (nope) or straightened) also nope but the better of the two. The only way I look “normal” is by putting my hair half up and half down. The top half BARELY fits into a ponytail, and even then the top “layer” doesn’t stay in it. I also have to straighten it, which causes damage. I don’t even know who the stylist is, at the end he didn’t even give me my receipt. He crumpled it and threw it away telling me to have a nice day dismissively. Previous to this incident I brought my 5 year old here. The lady also messed up on the shaping. He sat really still. I had tried to give the store as a whole another chance, at my own expense, but was severely let down. The man who cut my hair has no business cutting women’s hair. He needs to go to a barbershop or somewhere else. I can’t even get it FIXED cause there’s not enough hair TO fix it.
