It started out okay store was empty four or five employees unlocked mostly just mingling an older gentleman came to cut my hair very kind courteous but I don't think he knows what he was doing with fades My fate came out way too high sticks out on the sides and honestly look like a baby gorilla cut not very happy with it on the other option would be to shave it down and I don't want to do that second time I get a messed up haircut from Great clips not too sure that I'm going to go back there sucks

Thank God I have a Hat. Not a shop for Black Men. Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but I mean $20 (+ a tip)for what I got is actually robbery. First let’s talk about the positives:
- This place is beautiful and clean inside.
- The customer service is Top Tier
- My stylist discounted my cut to reflect that it was only a lineup. Looked like the original price for a hair cut was $25 or something like that
- My line up was quick (normally this would be a negative but I actually needed something rather quick so I’m going to leave this here as a positive)
- My stylist was super nice. Honestly I feel bad for how bad this cut was because it is NOT a reflection of her as a person at all. Honestly she’s probably a great stylist for types of hair she is used to dealing with. Which is also why I still gave her a tip despite my disappointment with my cut.
- My stylist knew her limits.
I came here because my wife was getting her nails done a couple hundred feet away from this place. So, honestly it is not their fault that I chose to come here out of convenience. I was in and out which is kind of a reflection of how good of a line up I received. As soon as I walked in my stomach dropped and I said to myself “Yup. I’m going to regret this.” Let’s talk about why I did:
- first I did not actually get what I asked for. I wanted a full lineup / and a light even trim of the hair on my head. (She didn’t hear me say the last part because she quickly interrupted me to say “I can’t line up the top, but I can do the rest.”)
- The clippers were not very close clippers so my line up is NOT clean at all which is also why she “could not line up the top”. I have a very light layer of hair in the common receding hairline corners but it is not completely bald. So when I get a decent cut you can barely tell that my hair is so light in that area.
- The way she lined the back … I’m not even sure what standard shape that is. It’s not rounded or faded…just kind of a box really.
- My sideburns don’t actually make any sense to me to be honest. I’m not trying to be mean I genuinely don’t understand what she was going for.
- No Brush or product of any sort was used on my hair. I walked out looking pretty much how I looked when I walked in.
- After she used the clippers on my obviously sensitive skin she didn’t use any sort of alcohol or after shave or anything. Pretty sure I’m going to have the worst razor bumps tomorrow. I’m on vacation so I’ll have to go to Walmart and get something to try to prevent it.
Obviously I would not come back here. My wife could have done a better job. I could have paid the same price for some Walmart clippers. Buuuut since it is my wife’s birthday, I didn’t want her to have to worry about my hair.
Please do not take this harsh review as a reason not to give this place a try. After all, this is my experience with the sweet older white lady. Who’s to say the other stylist couldn’t do something better for someone with hair like mine.

The elderly lady working there needs to retire, her clippers were filthy and covered in her previous clients hair as was the towel she kept wiping my head with. Her hands were about as steady as gene Wilder's in blazing saddles.

I do not recommend the stylist Shawna in Fiesta Plaza Albuquerque NM 87110,she is a person with a bad temper, it does not seem that she works with the desire to satisfy the public, I told her to fix my son's hair, and she did it with great annoyance and she did not do it well, I am not satisfied with her work and I would never return simply because of her poor service.
Mens, womens, kids and senior haircuts as well as bang, neck and beard trims. Other haircare services include shampoo, blow dry, or hair styling such as an updo. Select salons offer perm services.
