Don't ever buy anything on sale at this store. They ruined my Christmas dinner and Newyears dinner. But my dogs loved it. The turkey was at least one year old or more and the problem you don't know it untill you tast it and spit it out. the ham I bought it was out of date as well. You could smell it just as soon as you opened it. But where I live it was better to through it away than take it back. I will never shop at that store again they only care about there money and not what there are selling to you.

I had a pretty bad experience with LADIA.
I received a coupon for $9 haircut. It says “valid at participating NM locations”.
So I ask before the cut, “do you take this coupon?”
“well idk let me see it.” I show her.
“yeah looks legit.” I say “okay can you ring it up and let me know?” She says no, “there’s no way to tell until you go to pay”.
Now I’m cautious— I want to be sure the coupon is valid.
I try to explain: “well so what happens if the coupon doesn’t work?”
“well I guess you have to pay full price.”
“wait so there’s no way to know if it’s coupon price or full price until after the haircut?” Yep.
So then I’m in teacher mode: “I would like to help you see this from my POV so that you could advocate to your boss, the owner, corporate, that this coupon system is not totally transparent. You’re asking the customer to take a gamble.
Then this lady gets nasty and starts gaslighting me: “are you OK?” which is basically “are you mad bro?” so I tell her “yeah I think I’m pretty chill.” Again she says “Do you want a haircut?” yeah I want a haircut. I’m sitting in the chair. It feels like she’s doing everything to NOT give me a cut, or to antagonize me or something.
I would appreciate it if you didn’t treat me like a crazy person, right? I mean I’m a teacher, I’m married I’m wearing my wedding band, it’s election day so APS has the day off. I’ve already been to the gym. I’ve been to Panera. I voted and I’ve been to the bank, now I’m getting my haircut. I did NOT expect the haircut to be the most difficult part of my day. Lady are you OK? Cause you seem hyped up on coffee or Adderall or meth idk.
In another place I would’ve just left, but I’ve already waited 20 minutes. And I can tell that this lady is on one. Anything I say, she’s gonna respond aggressively and refuse to cut my hair. And then my time is wasted. So I just suck it up and adopt this apologetic tone, which isn’t fair. Much less professional.
(Also the haircut was bad. 1 sideburn is 1/4” maybe 1/2” higher. And I can do that in the mirror myself.
So after, we scan the coupon, ofc it does work (!), but throughout the haircut, she just HAS to keep getting these jabs in. At one point she’s talking to me she says “you know everyone has their own reality” what? Are you saying that I don’t live in the real world? Again not professional not polite. I could have snapped back, but I didn’t.
Then when I’m paying, she says “see you just need to have a little faith.” And it’s like no! It has nothing to do with faith. I’m actually astounded you can’t see this from my perspective. There’s absolutely no way for the customer to confirm that the coupon will work!
I’m trying to explain the situation so that you can pass this up the ladder to your boss or the owner or corporate. To let them know this situation is actually pretty troubling for a customer.
I still tipped her good. I respect her time even though I didn’t feel like I was getting the same respect from her. I gave her $20 so $11 tip on a $9 haircut.
But yeah, terrible experience. Here I am on my day off having a good old time, and now I feel like I’m being gaslighted by this manic hairdresser.
And now here I am, again on my day off, spending 20 minutes writing this review because I don’t want ANYBODY else to be treated that way. (also I want GC to figure out the coupon situation. I just want transparency. I just want fairness. I don’t think the coupon gamble is right.)
