I have never experienced such patience and kindness from a worker before. I came into the store feeling like a mess. Aleyna was very patient with during checkout I kept changing my mind and I felt very bad but she was soooo sweet and understanding. She also helped me pick a gift out for my sister I was stressing so much trying to find and I feel great now. Perfect customer service

Changing my previous review . I went to Sephora planning to apply for the credit card and use the 25% off right away on a few items. I asked specific questions, but the associate didn’t seem sure and had to check with her manager. I was told I could apply and use it immediately, but once approved, I learned there’s only a temporary credit limit, and it wasn’t enough to cover what I wanted. No one could help or provide a solution , the store manager never came out. To make things worse, the associate helping me had to go on lunch and left before finishing. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience that could’ve been avoided with better communication and care. I really do believe they were more interested in getting a credit card. Very deceptive.

I am definitely a Sephora girlie, but this experience was very irritating - 1. I brought two items to return in a Sephora bag. She mixed up the receipts and insisted they were the same until I corrected her. 2. She threw away my Sephora bag I had brought my return in, and when I asked for it back, she said I’d need to make a purchase to get a bag—though I brought a bag in that she tossed! 3. I asked another store associate for the Summer Fridays Birthday Cake lip gloss; she immediately replied stating it was sold out. I checked online, saw it was in stock, and found plenty available myself in the store. A quick inventory check would’ve helped before telling a customer no. 4. I went back to pay for the lip gloss and the cashier swiped the store credit (that I had just received see 1-2) and said it declined and handed it back. I told her I just got this and showed the receipt. She tried a few times again and it worked. Overall just not a great experience.

I love sephora, however idk what is going on in rid store. It seems they have a lack of cashiers lately. I was there a few weeks ago, there was a line of people and no on was on the register. I asked one of the employee where are the cashiers and with an attitude she told me the workers on the floor have the mobile machine to ring people up. So basically you stand on line until someone from the floor call you. One of the ladies called me and pulled me to a busy area by the perfume section to scan my items, I had to tell her we need to move to a different area. I didn't like checking out like that hopefully they bring back the cashiers at the registers.

Back in late September I went and bought my mom Chanel no5. I bought it for her a few years ago and she uses it sparingly so it lasted her a long time. She told me she wanted a new one for her birthday because she was running low. I went and got her one and it’s $175 and you all know this day and age and we all don’t make much money, I’m an FA who makes very little money but I wanted to get her something to make her happy. She was in Jamaica (her first trip in two years) for her birthday I left it on the counter for her. I got a call from my mom saying there was nothing in the bottle I told her to leave it because I had the receipt. I brought it back and tried to explain the situation, I didn’t even want a return just a replacement. I made sure it was in within the 30 days, they called over the manager and the manager was indirectly accusing me of breaking the bottle and pouring it into something else. I told her that. I told her I spent about 200-300 dollars and she said “well it’s actually only $175”. I said “That’s still a lot of money. I don’t make a lot I was just trying to get my mom something nice” At this point I’m upset and even questioning if what my mom told me was true. I’m trying to explain to her my mom opened it and said “wow this looks light” but didn’t think much of it, wondering if I didn’t have the money to buy her the full thing. She got a better look of it the next day and there was nothing in it and the whole back of the bottle was broken, she even looked in the box there was no glass. The manager then told me it was an old box I tried to show her that no it’s not old because I bought it a week ago, and then she started saying that if it broke in transit there would be brown on the bottle. I was trying to explain to her that I honestly don’t know what happened if it broke at the factory because it’s made with robots or if someone broke it and returned it I don’t know I’m not even asking for a refund just a new one. She then insinuated multiple times that I broke it and poured it into a new bottle and used the old packaging. At this point I’m sweating and tearing up because I HATE confrontation. I told her that if that were the case you would see that I have done this multiple times before, I use my beauty insider everytime I buy something, I told her to look up my history I have never not once returned anything whenever I buy something and don’t like it I give it to someone else I never return, so wouldn’t you think you would see that as a red flag in my history’. Finally after 30 minutes going back and forth, me tearing up and embarrassing me infront of everyone into thinking I’m a skilled thief. she finally said “well we usually don’t do this but fine.” It’s not my fault it broke in the factory, why doesn’t Sephora cover that and make people feel like shit for their mistake, and why do you make someone so rude the manager. I know this doesn’t matter much to others or the billion dollar company, but as someone who doesn’t make much money and the embarrassment they made me feel after I have been a loyal customer who never returns and always buys from them, this matters to me. Thank you and I hope your 1 percent is still profiting after losing $175
