  Hi, I tried highlights for the first time and didn't like the result and looked very ashy on my brown skin. I reached out for a correction. And I am now happy with my results. Thanks a lot Ashish!! The gloss made a big difference—it looks much more blended and natural now. It’s slightly warmer/redder than I expected, but overall I really like the result and how healthy my hair feels. I appreciate your care and styling—thank you again!

  I came to David Ezera Salon in December for makeup and a blowout for a special occasion. I’ve been growing out a bob and wanted only a small trim. Since David is the owner, I chose to have him do the cut and showed him a reference photo of a long bob, one with subtle face-framing/long curtain bangs. See below. Unfortunately, what I received was much more drastic than what I asked for. My hair was originally one length, and he layered the entire crown and texturized all my hair heavily with a razor. The result looked and felt extremely thinned out and damaged compared to what I came in with. The picture I showed was of a long curtain bang at the models chin. See picture. My bang was cut to my eyebrow. NOTHING like the picture. To make matters worse, David did not blow-dry my hair after the cut, his assistant did, so he did not see the final outcome. His assistant initially styled me with beach waves which emphasized the short layers and looked terrible, and I asked for a re-blow-dry, which still looked terrible but slightly better than the first blow-out. I went home and had to clip my bangs back before my event because it looked so bad. It’s now been almost four months and the “bangs” and crown layers still don’t sit well. I can only wear the front clipped back, and it’s going to take a very long time to grow out. I understand many clients may love his work, but my experience was that the cut did not reflect the photo or the conversation. If you’re going for a specific look, especially something subtle like a long bob/long curtain bang—and you don’t want a high-risk, dramatic change, I’d recommend being very cautious or choosing a different stylist. I included a pic of me before my haircut, which was healthy looking and one length. I also included a picture of what I showed David. The last two pictures are of my hair now after over 3 months and taking vitamins and using solutions for hair growth. It was much shorter than this. But it still looks like a 4 year old cut my hair. It looks thin and damaged from all the razor cutting. I spent a lot of money for this and I will not go back because there is no possible way to fix to this. I just have to wait it out to grow. This review is only for my hair. The makeup artist did a wonderful job.
