  Save your money $200 plus a tip for the stylist to fry my hair and make it yellow/orange and dry it out Did a real crap job and charged me $200 without a haircut…Barbara L ruined my hair when my hair is naturally dry and I was charged double processs fee bleach and then style 4 1/2 hours but the manager says it wasn’t a double process …bleach and a color sounds like double process to me When I tried to come in and have the manager look at it she was out with her sick mother She defended the stylist and blamed me for not coming back in but she’s not available on Sunday which is the only day to go in I wouldn’t step foot in the door if that place ever again I have to go in on their time? What about my time ? Currently disputing on credit card to get my money back as the nasty manager won’t reimburse me…I had to go to a real salon and get my hair cut off as it’s so dry and frizzy

  I’m so very disappointed. I wanted a fresh haircut for the spring and had a clear picture of what I wanted. I must of said it a bunch of times that I wanted the longest length to be collarbone level when it’s dried. The picture I’ll post is of the photo I showed her and the. What I got. She butchered my hair, I don’t even know how to style it the way it is. The stylist was slow but that didn’t bother me as much as her comment “maybe in a couple weeks it will be the length you wanted” I cried in the bathroom, I’ve NEVER CRIED over a haircut. I would have appreciated it if the stylist said she couldn’t do what I asked, but instead she proceeded to butcher my hair. The cut has many layers and I have 2 layers. I’m so annoyed! Also the stylist tried to tell me she was going to have to charge extra for length, my hair was not crazy long so of course I disputed that. Idk what I’m going to do. I’m a REALTOR and really needed a nice cut. Idk what I’m gonna do until it grows out and I’m hoping it happens sooner rather than later.

  I had a great experience on Wednesday this week at the Pennys salon. My hair was too long and needed a good cut and a color touch up as well. The stylist discussed a color choice with me and it was spot on. Love it and will be back!

  This is the 3rd time I have visited the JC Penney salon and had an incredible experience with Christine Jai. I cannot recommend her enough! From the moment I sat down in her chair she provided a thorough and thoughtful consultation. She listened carefully to what I wanted and offered her advice which was tailored to my hair type. She did everything I asked and more! Christine is warm , caring, funny and her expertise cannot be matched. Every time I go I leave feeling beautiful. You can tell she really loves what she does and it shows!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christine Jai at JCPenney Salon. I’ve worked in the hair industry myself, and finding someone these days who truly listens, cares, and takes pride in their craft feels rare. From the moment I sat in her chair, I could tell she was the real deal, experienced, kind, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I came in just wanting a simple long-layer cut with a little extra bounce, and she absolutely nailed it. It’s exactly what I had in mind, light, healthy, and perfectly shaped. Beyond her talent, Christine Jai’s energy is so warm and genuine. You can feel that she truly wants every person who sits in her chair to leave feeling good about themselves. She deserves so much recognition for her skill and heart. Sometimes the best stylists aren’t hidden in fancy salons, they’re the ones like Christine Jai showing up every day, doing amazing work, and making people feel beautiful. I left not only loving my hair, but also feeling so grateful to have met her. If you’re tired of the waitlists and inflated prices elsewhere, go see Christie Jai!
