  I initially went there to get a partial highlight and haircut however, after waiting on the older lady to even get started, it took her over a half hour just to mix my color and start one foil, she wasted six minutes on adding color to just one tiny section of my hair, she kept telling me to put my head down, even though my head was fully down and could not even go any further everything was just feeling completely off with this experience so I asked her to stop and that I wanted to cancel. She then took a dry towel And started to wipe the bleach out of my hair. I asked for a manager because clearly A dry towel is not going to cut it, she then started using the water bottle on that section of hair to get the bleach out as the manager was coming to me. I then had a talk with the manager Bri about the experience, she then gave me her card and the card of the assistant manager saying that we want to make this right and if you come back and give us another chance, we will make this right. A few days later, I call in and I talk to the assistant manager, we go over the price of the same thing that I wanted she told me it would be about $131 but that it could go slightly up if I needed extra color by the time I got there later that evening the hairstylist Lexi started going over things while checking out my hair and went tallied up, some numbers came back to me and said that she was going to charge me $208. I could not believe my ears. They were totally trying to take advantage of me, money is not the issue I go to hello gorgeous for several years now and I have a very high level specialist that takes care of me and everything that I get there totals to $190 yet at a hair Cuttery this young girl trying to charge me $208 totally unacceptable. I told her I would never pay that much for my hair to be done by someone with only that much experience at a hair Cuttery place that is only trying to get over on someone so I canceled the appointment and I left. I just got off the phone with the manager of the store Bri and she herself said that if she was to do it that she would charge me extra for the free blow dry that comes along with getting the color. She will charge me an extra $13 on top of the free blow dry and she would charge me extra for color and even that still came out to $175 so that girl Lexi was definitely trying to Make extra money for her own pocket. Shame on this place shame on Lexi shame on the assistant manager Gabby for telling me $131 pathetic could possibly go up, because Lexi told me that Gabby already had it in the system for $176 so these people are full of it they are manipulators they tell you a price over the phone just to get you there and then jack up the price beyond belief. I will never step foot in that place ever again. I’m definitely going right back to hello gorgeous only because my girl is on vacation. I will wait until she gets back.

  I drive 35 minutes to have Byrd do my hair because she is the best. She knows exactly what i want and the times when i am unsure of what i want to have done, she gives me excellent advice and is always on point. I highly recommend this location
