    Had such a great in-store experience at Sephora! A special shoutout to Laura, who went above and beyond helping my mom refresh her routine for the spring season. She created a simple, everyday makeup regimen that felt easy and realistic to maintain, all in a calm, low-pressure environment. What really stood out was how she took the time to understand our goals and balanced makeup with skincare so thoughtfully—it never felt rushed or sales-driven. Laura truly made the experience special—she brought so much care and attention to helping my mom feel confident and comfortable, which meant a lot to us. Also want to mention Amy, who was so warm and positive during checkout and made the whole experience feel seamless. We left feeling taken care of and will absolutely be back!

    I will usually go out of my way to come to Sephora over Ulta (which in a more convenient and larger location to my home) because I have had repeatedly amazing experiences with employees, specifically Bri. Unfortunately, yesterday when I stopped in, there was a man walking around who was clearly an employee, who would walk by staring at me and when I said hi, he nodded, looked away and rushed off. A few minutes later he walked by again staring at me, this continued to happen at least 6 times in various parts of the already small store and I felt very uncomfortable. As a woman, I am constantly aware of my surroundings and while I didn’t explicitly feel unsafe, it was unnerving and has stuck with me more than 24 hours later. I thought about it later and am sure that this man is a security guard and since I was carrying a large purse (I often carry novels with me to read in my free time) he felt that I may need to be watched. Either way, I feel that in a store that caters to women and other members of frequently marginalized groups, Sephora would be sensitive in their training for these types of positions. If I do go back any time soon, I’ll be bringing a smaller bag. 🙄

    The Sephora in Shrewsbury, NJ has the most helpful, honest, knowledgeable, and attentive staff ever! I go out of my way to come to that specific location.

    Drove over 30 minutes for my birthday gift, waited in holiday lines, just to be told that they “ran out of birthday gifts” and had nothing to give me. thanks for ruining my bday sephora! don’t market promises you can’t keep….you have tons of samples and products, pretty sure your cashier / sales rep could’ve come up with something…

    Ready to shop? Find another location or prepare to be ignored if you are over 50 or aren’t dressed to impress. Employees are more interested in younger customers or chatting with eachother. When I spoke to the Mgr she said “she was sorry I felt that way.” Wait, what? Leading by example comes to mind. You don’t care, they won’t.
