I use to go great clips in Franklin lakes for years it closed and that's why I went to riverdale but I have to say I won't be back.

But what keeps getting worse and what finally pushed me to write this- is the customer service and overall attitude from the staff, especially management. When we walked in yesterday, my boyfriend thought the check-in screen was a touch screen. Instead of simply telling him, the woman at the front (who I believe is the manager -bigger woman with black hair and bangs, has been there forever) was incredibly rude and condescending. Her tone made him feel like he was an idiot for misunderstanding something anyone could easily get wrong. She consistently has an attitude every time we’re in there. Her persona is cold, arrogant, and honestly not suited for customer-facing work. Then there was the newer stylist ( ever seen her before) who cut my 12-year-old son’s hair. When I showed her photos of what we wanted, she abruptly told us, “That’s a barbershop cut, it would take 30–45 minutes,” and then proceeded to say she wouldn’t cut it because it “wouldn’t look good on him.” Instead of walking out, I just told her to do his usual cut. She was visibly annoyed, rough with him, pushy, and handled him with zero patience. My son is a quiet, gentle kid, and he couldn’t wait to get out of the chair. The dismissive attitude, the rudeness, the lack of basic customer service - it’s unbelievable. As a business owner myself, I would be embarrassed to have employees treating customers this way. The owner of this franchise really needs to take a hard look at what’s going on inside this location. Convenience can only keep customers coming back for so long. At this point, we’re done.
