- ADAlexandra DobrowDec 18, 20251.0I checked in online from my work computer at 5:00pm was told I was 8th in line and there was a 70min wait. I arrived to the “salon” at 6:04pm and did not see my name on the list. When the female working Old hispanic woman with long ramen noodle looking hair asked if I checked in I said yes I checked in online but I did not see my name on the list. She asked what time I checked in and when I told her 5pm she rudely said that if I checked in at 5 I had to be there at 6 or they would remove me from the list. She then added me to the back of the line. I waited about 30 minutes but then heard the older hispanic man start talking to his client stating “ oh no you’re late but SOME people check in and show up over an hour late and then are mad they aren't on the list anymore”. I called back to him “ yeah but if your system tells them their wait is going to be 70 minutes and they show up in 64 minutes its not our fault you have ridiculous rules in place”. He completely ignored me so I left. After looking at other reviews and the hair “stylists” hair themselves I made the smart decision. Very unprofessional!

Another person tried to fix it, and I almost walked out of there completely bald. I paid $22 for the worst haircut experience of my life. I do not recommend this place at all.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
