- CMCharles MooneyFeb 4, 20261.0Welp. Have to find a new place to get a haircut. Moved here last summer and this was the go to for myself and my family. Really nice hairdressers, depends on who you get for the cut itself. Some do a really good job for what I want and some not so much, but it’s just hair. They do good with my kids so it worked. Then recently I went and got my usual, took one of my sons and he got a cut too. Really friendly as usual. When paying, pulled out my military ID because they have always given a discount. Not a big one but it helps. They said there is a new owner and they don’t give discounts to military, Fire Department or Police. Okay. It isn’t required or expected, it is a nice gesture and helpful when I bring my whole family. That is that owners right and I respect it, but I don’t have to and won’t spend my money somewhere not supported. So, they lost nine customers. I’d steer my buddies away also. There are a lot more places to get haircuts.

I literally went in and said that I need detangling and had delivered a baby which leaves me with no time for myself. First the hair dresser lady went on and on saying “oh boy” she kept criticizing it and said never seen such tangled hair ever. I kept quiet. Later, she started brushing my hair and gave me a brush too saying “I am not doing this alone. We will close soon and you need to help me.” I was like sure! In this she kept hurting me by brushing so hard and calling out on her colleague named Maria , look at this. And Maria was like what is this? 2 months of not washing hair! The way they looked down upon me was insane. Later , I literally told her please shorten it to get rid of the bad tangle. She cut my hair in layers which was good. But the humiliation was unreal. She also made a comment that this isn’t included in shampoo and haircut! I tipped her well and apologized as well! But I will say never ever make someone feel so bad about their hair. You don’t know what they are going through. Motivating to maintain mane is different than humiliating! Please treat people well ladies. I have seen them do this in the past to other people but now I have experienced it first hand. Not returning here and suggest you also to avoid this place!
