  I left speechless!!! I asked for a butterfly cut and that’s exactly what I got and more! I had Lexi as my hair stylist and she was amazing and very sweet!

  First time receiving a service from JCP and I was surprised that there even was a salon here. I was approached by a friendly hairstylist named Lexi who was offering first time discounts. I took her up on her offer and she did not disappoint!! I got a face frame with a blowout and left with soo much volume. I WILL be coming back.

  I went in for the $20 blowout and ended up being charged $45 because they used a flat iron on my hair. The stylist suggested using the flat iron because she said my hair was too curly, but didn’t mention that I would be up-charged for it. I was blindsided by the extra charge.

  I got a haircut here yesterday and it was quite literally one of the worst haircuts i have ever got. It was my fault for thinking I should trust the hairdressers process because I left with a lot less hair than we discussed about taking off. I have to now go pay a fortune to get it fixed at a proper salon.

  Worst experience—this is the second time this has happened. I initially removed my previous review thinking it might have been a one-time issue, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. The salon at JCPenney has extremely unprofessional and rude staff. The front desk employee, who is usually present, asked if I had an appointment. I told her I was there to schedule an appointment for hair color. After that, she completely ignored me and continued chatting with her coworker about money-related matters. I was left standing there without any acknowledgment. Basic customer service means pausing personal conversations or at least informing a customer that you’ll assist them shortly. Instead, I was made to wait awkwardly while being ignored. The staff also seems greedy and inconsistent with pricing. Prices appear to change frequently, and they try to add extra charges—even small amounts like $5—without clear justification. After standing there for about two minutes with no response, I finally left. The staff member didn’t seem affected at all. This place clearly lacks professionalism and respect for customers. Zero respect for customers at this salon.
