  I have been going to Caru for years and have always had a very good experience, today’s experience however was exceptional. There was a snafu in which I couldn’t see the Jr. stylist I had originally booked with. The salon quietly upgraded me to one of their most sr. Stylist (at no additional charge). Not only was this situation handled so well, but it was such a treat to work with such an expert. Jason did an absolutely fantastic cut and color. He provided feedback and advice on the color (I’ve been waiting years for a hairstylist to do this) and absolutely nailed execution. THANK YOU!!

  I've been to CARU in the past, but was very overdue and decided to make an appointment. As soon as the elevator opened, I was greeted by someone up front and asked if they could hang up my coat. Once I sat in the lounge, someone else offered me a beverage and told me to help myself to a snack that was in the basket in the waiting area. My whole service was excellent, particularly my wash and blowout by Diana. It was my first time meeting her, I was told that's she's an assistant, who is also training to be a stylist. The wash was like a spa and her warm personality added to the experience. I'll also note that they told me the ownership recently changed hands and that Brittney and Michael, who I've seen there in the past, are now the owners. They both thanked me for coming in and were very friendly and kind. Aside from the excellent service, I'll definitely be back for the experience. It's a very laid back place, without feeling too casual.

  Recently went here for the first time and had Joshua as my stylist, overall great experience and I really love my cut and felt like he really took his time to listen to what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions and my hair came out exactly like I wanted. I appreciated his attention to detail, and would recommend!

  UPDATE: The salon reached out to me and were very accommodating in getting me set up for another haircut with a different stylist after my previous experience. This one was overall much better and I came away happy with my haircut this time. Previous Review: I felt a little rushed and not given the time to really discuss. I had pictures I wanted to share in order to discuss the type of haircut I wanted and my stylist barely looked at 1 before moving on. When asked at different points what I thought about the cut, any suggestion I made or asked for was shot down. I do understand she's the professional but also felt like I was not really being listened to. I left feeling the same way I did the last time I came here: unenthusiastic and mildly disappointed with the overall experience.
