  Unfortunately I had the worst experience getting highlights that ruined my hair. I went to the salon the last week of January and was assigned a colorist who had me sit with highlights from 12:30pm-5pm. I’ve had highlights for 20 years and never sat in a chair that long for medium length hair. When the foils were removed my heart sank bc my hair was dead, stringy, and limp. It’s been a month and the texture of my hair has changed permanently. It’s Fried. Ive spent over $200 trying to fix the damage caused and unfortunately have to just painstakingly grow my hair out. I’ve had to give myself 2 at home haircuts to remove the damage that was caused by the service.

  Went in for a blowout with Ryan and ended up leaving with an amazing haircut!!!! He’s super honest and gives the best direction!! I trusted him completely and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time at Bond and it was such a great experience. I followed Ryan from his previous location (where I was first introduced to his amazing blowouts) because he’s that talented and I’m so happy I did. True pro. Highly recommend!!

  I have been getting my haircuts with Enzo for the last 2 years and have always left happy with my experience. From the moment I am greeted at reception to the moment I leave I am treated with professionalism and made to feel comfortable.

  The staff at this salon are genuinely kind and the receptionist is always helpful, which I appreciate. My feedback is specifically about the color service. I came in with a golden tone and asked to move toward a cooler, ash result that suits my Soft Summer coloring. I showed both a video and a photo reference of a neutral cool shade with no warmth. During my first appointment with Jayleen, I was told ash tones were used, but the result came out warmer, even warmer than before. If a cool correction cannot be achieved in one session, that should be communicated clearly instead of moving forward with a result opposite to what was requested. I had to return a few days later to adjust the color. Courtney was very kind and helped reduce some of the warmth, but my hair still reads warm overall. At this point, it feels like the salon does bright blondes well but struggles with more nuanced cool toned color work outside of that range.

  I have been seeing Jenna Mast for cut and color for the past 8 years and cannot recommend anyone more highly. She is a true master at her craft, every time I see her I leave feeling incredible. Recently I told her she is doing the lord's work by ensuring the women of NYC (and Hoboken :) are looking and feeling like the best version of themselves. The atmosphere in the salon is also lovely. It is bright and airy, and everyone is very friendly and makes sure you have a great experience.
