  I had the absolute best experience getting my hair done by Luz, and I can confidently say she is one of the most talented and genuine hairdressers I’ve ever come across. From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel completely comfortable and taken care of. There’s something so warm and welcoming about her personality—she has this natural ability to connect with you, listen carefully, and make you feel like you’re in the best hands possible. What really stood out to me was how attentive she was during our consultation. She didn’t just rush into the appointment—she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and even gave her professional opinion in a way that felt supportive and never pushy. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and wants them to leave feeling confident and happy. Her technique is incredible. Luz works with such precision and confidence, and you can immediately tell she knows exactly what she’s doing. Whether it was the way she sectioned my hair, blended everything so seamlessly, or styled it at the end, every step felt intentional and expertly done. She pays attention to the smallest details, which really makes a difference in the final result. My hair has honestly never looked or felt this good. Beyond her skill, what made the experience even more special was how she made me feel throughout the entire appointment. She constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and happy with how things were going, and her positive energy made the whole experience so enjoyable. I left not only loving my hair but also feeling refreshed and uplifted. Luz has such a passion for what she does, and it shows in every aspect of her work. She’s professional, talented, kind, and truly dedicated to making her clients feel their best. It was my first time going to her, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment. If you’re looking for someone who is not only amazing at what they do but also genuinely cares about your experience, I can’t recommend Luz enough. She exceeded all my expectations, and I’m so grateful I found her!

  I love coming to this salon! I have been to both locations and have always left happy with the results. Most recently I had a partial highlight appointment with Jenna Mast and I was THRILLED with the results. I went in still unsure of what I wanted, she understood my vision and truly brought it to life. I have recommended her to friends and highly recommend to anyone reading!

  JENNA IS THE BEST!!! She is quite literally the only person I trust with my blonde—she gets it perfect every single time. My friend and I love her so much that when she moved from Manhattan to Hoboken, following her was a total no-brainer. I even recommended my sister who now travels all the way from DC just to get her hair done by Jenna! We’re literally crazy for her, she’s also just the most amazing, hilarious person.   Had such a great experience at BOND Downtown! Brandon did my color and Brianna did my cut, and both were fantastic!! We started with a sit-down all together to talk through my goals and I really felt heard and nothing felt rushed at all, which I usually do feel in other salons to keep appointments moving. The salon itself is beautiful and super comfortable (which matters to me for a long appointment). They offered drinks when I arrived and even set me up at a table so I could get some work done while my color was processing, which I loved and was super unique!! I’m so happy with how everything turned out. They were both so kind and struck the perfect balance of being friendly and conversational with letting me read and relax. Already looking forward to coming back!

  I went to this salon hoping to neutralize the orange tones in my hair. I clearly explained that I wanted a lighter shade, but not blonde, and I even showed several inspiration photos of the color I had in mind. Unfortunately, the stylist seemed completely unsure of what she was doing. She had no clear idea of what the final result would be, which made me feel extremely uneasy. Despite that feeling, I decided to trust the process because I thought it couldn’t possibly look worse than my current hair. Sadly, it did. She sat me at the washing station and applied bleach to my hair for hours while I was stuck there. She lightened my hair far more than necessary for the color I had asked for. I will attach photos because it was shockingly over-processed. For the look I wanted, there was absolutely no reason to bleach my hair that much. I also asked for a smooth transition from my natural roots, but instead she left a harsh line — basically a visible stripe — and bleached the rest of my hair. During this time she took two other clients and barely paid attention to me. I was left waiting at the washing chair for long periods, and as a result my hair was severely damaged. When I finally saw my hair in the mirror, I couldn’t believe it. She had turned my hair gray and extremely dry, like straw. There was also a reddish line from my roots downward. I told her immediately that this was not what I asked for and that I could not leave with my hair like that. She tried to fix it by coloring it again, but it only made things worse — my hair turned green. At that point my hair was completely ruined. She couldn’t even properly blow-dry it because it was so damaged. Two days later I was forced to cut half of my hair off because the bleached parts were completely burned and broken. Even now, those sections are still severely damaged. I am extremely upset. I have never had such a terrible experience at a salon in my life. After the second wash, my hair turned bright yellow, which shows how badly it was done. This was truly a disastrous job. A stylist who clearly did not know what she was doing completely destroyed my long hair. I paid $320 for this service, and my hair was completely ruined. And ı also spent $200 more to fix the damage.
