  I recently visited Lynx Hair Salon to get a haircut and colour. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm smile from the receptionist, as well as other stylists that were there , this created an inviting atmosphere. My stylist, Bonita ( also the owner ) , took time to understand what I wanted and provided some great suggestions based on my hair type. The interior of the salon was beautifully decorated, and everything appeared clean and well-organized. Many good things are said about finding the right hair salon, and Lynx Hair Salon did not disappoint. After my appointment, I left feeling confident with my fresh cut and color. I’ve received multiple compliments since then, and I will definitely be returning to Lynx Hair Salon! Bonita's Lynx Hair Salon is the BEST !!! ♥️

  Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting Chloe Manetta, a skilled stylist at Lynx Hair Lounge. I am extremely disappointed in myself for not visiting this salon sooner. The interior has a sassy Boho style. My son and I have very curly hair, which can be challenging to cut. We were both impressed with our haircuts. My daughter, who has long straight hair, was thrilled with her new layers. Chloe demonstrated her versatility and talent today. We highly recommend giving Chloe and the salon a try if you haven't already.

  My daughter and I came to Bonita for the first time based off a recommendation as well as seeing positive online reviews. We both have straight shoulder length hair, but the back of our hair is longer than the front, in an oval shape. We both came in wanting to trim the back to be on equal length with the rest of our hair. I also came in wanting to trim my curtain bangs as well. When we told Bonita this, she was perfectly okay and told us it’s an easy job. She had a girl wash my daughter’s hair first, and then Bonita began trimming it. As I noticed Bonita finishing up my daughter’s hair, I noticed the back was still long and asked her if she could trim it a bit more. She assured me that after my daughter got blow-dried, she’d fix whatever was needed. While my daughter was getting blow-dried, Bonita began trimming my hair. She finished and then began blow-drying mine as well. First, she couldn’t style the bangs correctly; they were floating in the air. I asked her to fix the way she blow-dried my bangs so I could check if the length was correct. She was struggling to get them to sit nicely and was getting a bit annoyed with it, so I said it was ok and that I’d do it once I got home. After she dried the rest of my hair, I noticed one side of my hair was shorter than the other and that the back was still long. When I asked her to fix this, she became annoyed and said there was nothing wrong with my hair. I had to take photos and point them out to her for her to see what was wrong. She very harshly told me to sit down and when I asked her to please speak more nicely to me, she told me it was her salon, and she can speak however she wants to. I told her that it’s very wrong to speak to customers that way. She just ironically smiled at me, and I had no choice but to let her continue and attempt to fix my hair. She went in with her thinning shears and started cutting the back of my hair. After I felt it for the first time, my heart dropped. There was barely anything left. The back of my hair was now extremely thin, while the sides were still very thick. At this point I could no longer argue with her as I was so upset and drained of energy. I asked her as calmly as possible please thin the sides a little as well, and she harshly commented “now you want me to cut the sides too?” She was obviously irritated and kept smiling cynically as she cut my hair with one hand (the other on her hips). By the time I got up I had no energy to tell her to fix my daughter’s hair, so I asked to pay. She said she didn’t want my money. I want to make clear that none of this was because we did not want to pay. My daughter and I came in wanting to walk out confident in our hair and instead I left horrified with my new haircut. I paid Bonita in cash for both of our cuts ($140 + $10 tip for the girl who washed our hair). The way Bonita acted was extremely unprofessional and not how you treat a client.

  I’ve been going to this salon for years and Emma was a super star she ended up moving which was a bummer, she really listened to what I wanted and was the only one who did my hair like I wanted:) I started to see Peter and although I loved his personality and he managed to leave my hair looking pretty at the end it was never what I wanted. Fast forward to 2 months ago my hair was again “pretty” but not even close to what I asked for. And on top of it within a few days my hair was a totally different color!!! I asked if there was something they could do after paying top dollar and an $80 tip. Instead of saying come back in we will fix it they said I need to pay for all services and threw in a measly 10% discount . I thought that was a Slap in the face after I’ve been going there for years and tipping heavily. Long story short I’m never going back to this salon , the amount of turn over with hair stylists is crazy and the hype of the salon honestly is gone and seems to revolve around the same 3 clients being posted. On a positive note!! I went to see a wonderful hair stylist called **Modern Wave Salon** and Omg ! She was amazing she got me blonde blonde which I’ve been going to lynxx for years now to achieve and never got it. Lynx has a comfort zone and they do not go beyond that. Find your self a well educated colorist like MODERN WAVE SALON In Bridgewater .
