I decided to try a back facial at Parisian this morning. They have current students do them for a discount. My esthetician was Emily. Overall it was a great experience. From the time you get there your car is parked by the nicest valet I've ever had. From there you are brought into the school which is filled with smiling faces and warm welcomes. The esthetician, Emily, made me feel very comfortable as a first timer. She talked me through every step and answered all of my questions. I really felt like she took the time to incorporate me into the process as well as explain what each treatment was doing for my skin. I actually had fun based on how excited she was. I highly recommend.

Hands-down one of the best facials I’ve ever had I just received my first facial from Emily, and wow—I am still floating. From the moment we started, she explained each step of the treatment in a way that was calming, not clinical, and her touch was unbelievably soft and relaxing. You can feel how much care and intention she puts into her work. She also took the time to make thoughtful recommendations for my skin going forward—products, routines, and what would actually work for my skin (not just the trendy stuff). I left feeling refreshed, glowing, and completely taken care of. Emily is truly talented, patient, and intuitive. If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and makes the entire experience feel luxurious, she’s your girl. I can’t wait for my next appointment. 💛

From my wife who had an appt a few months ago: To be honest, I have come to this beauty school a few times now and have had some very good experiences. I really enjoy the teaching and learning atmosphere that is exhibited and the prices are amazing for the services you receive. However, I recently went in and had a less than positive experience. The service from my stylist and even the valet guys was stellar. I really thought it interesting the valet guys remembered me also because it had been a bit and they see lots of people. However, someone mis-wrote what services I would be receiving on the paper given to the stylist. My stylist was apologetic and asked her learning leader, Vanessa. Vanessa blamed the front desk I thought she might go and double check or at least make sure, but even when she came back to me, she continued to say that it wasn’t her fault and that it was how the front desk interpreted what I wanted. This did not feel good when I was there but I was a bit annoyed as I had gone in for highlights and was only being serviced a basic hair color. Vanessa walked around like she was absolutely correct about everything and was very unapologetic. Come to find out as I’m paying that she was absolutely WRONG. The front desk had it in their system that I was due for highlights and even asked me why I had not received that service. Vanessa was by the side of the desk and I’m unsure if she heard or not but she just stood there for a bit before walking away. I find her customer service to be lacking severely. She may be a good teacher but may need to stay away from customers. The first thing she really should have done is just apologize and then double check to see where the error might have been. I feel it should have been her job to find out at the front desk what the computer had instead of just assuming they were wrong. I don’t know who wrote on the sheets, it might have been her, but it was human error and that should always be double checked. This experience was very disappointing.

Terrible, the process was going smooth until this rude teach, who was assist the two young ladies Isabella and Gianna. The colorist/teach starts asking aggressive questions to me and the students. I am not sure if that’s how it suppose to be but me as the client that is unacceptable. Also repeatedly asking me for a picture of what I want so we’re on the same page it’s ridiculous how do you do business with a picture how do I know what the person real color hair, then keeps telling me I need highlights and need to come back 3 or 4 times. Repeatedly asking if I used box dye. Just a complete disaster. As I advised them I just spent 500 to get my hair done 6 months ago. Not disappointed just the saying you get what you pay for is true. Cheap price Terrible service Only by the TEACHER. Isabella and Gianna are great!

ZERO CONSISTENCY. Was there 2 months ago and was charged $30 for a single process. This is a school and you're taking a chance that the students might botch the color, which they have before. When I called, the receptionist told me I would pay $30 like 2 months prior. Instead, a woman came up to me and started telling me that they would have to charge me extra for long hair (my hair is shoulder length- this isn't considered long by any standards) Then she told me she'd have to charge me extra for having to use extra product- again not something that occurred 2 months prior. This level of incompetence is how you lose clients and they did. Also, upscale salons that have students usually don't even charge a fee bc they know you're taking a risk and you're also doing them a favor by allowing an inexperienced student to color your hair so they can learn in the process. Other salons are also not tacky enough to upcharge for using more product. For Parisian to think it's ok to charge almost $60 for a student service is absurd. Never again.
