  When it comes to my hair, I really have spent over 45 years realizing no one can get the blonde I want (I take pride in my hair.). This all changed when I walked into Charm in Hackensack and met Monica. I met her through Kathy, an amazing lash tech. Well, Just my luck I have two daughters who tried to go blonde and apparently inherited my small world issue with not being able get the right shade of blonde. I brought them to Monica at Charm - magic, no damage perfect, my daughter has jet black hair. I don’t comment on hair because it’s the only thing I truly take serious about myself. The salon itself is a 10 out of 10. The world has gone insane with pricing, Charm has been more than reasonable for the services and talent offered. The family who owns Charm is so warm and welcoming., I can’t say enough kind things about them. One time she even waited with my daughter because I got stuck and was late picking up my daughter. it’s rare I feel comfortable places but everyone Charm seems more like a family. Not the “mean girl crew” If I feel safe enough dropping off & picking up my daughter - you can always not imagine how bright and positive the environment must be. I am against the whole rude work cliques and I have walked out of salons in the past because of it, foils on head and all (I did pay I just finished myself at home) My family owns an ice cream shop so I know it is a 24/7 operation and a lot of work to run a salon. I give Charm a 20 out of 5 Stars. Keep it up please!!!! Merry Christmas, Buon Natalie & Buono Feste! my other daughter will see you next month

  Took these pictures from a video, i have been going to Valerie since i was 11 years old and i truly do not trust anyone else with my hair. She is absolutely amazing at blowouts and haircuts and color as well, she does amazing in everything, not that the other stylists aren’t talented as well but Valerie truly does amazing work and stands out to me more than the other stylists personally. Love her

  Ohhhhhh Dios mío, encarecidamente recomiendo este lugar, que vibra más linda, que lugar tan dulce, volveré cada vez a este lugar hacerme mis cejas y por supuesto a probar el cabello porque es mi primera vez aquí, pero decidí hacer este comentario sobre todo por juliana, ella fue quien me hizo la cejas y definitivamente no creo que haya alguien más dulce y capacita que ella en ningún sitio cerca de aquí, María la chica de servicio también muy dulce, recomendaría este lugar todas las veces que fueran necesarias. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

  I had a very disappointing experience at Beauty Charm in Hackensack, NJ this past Saturday. My appointment was at 12:00 PM, but I called ahead to let them know I’d be a little late. I arrived at 12:30 PM and was met with a very unfriendly attitude from the owner—she gave me a very angry look and was not welcoming at all, even though I apologized for being late. She said she would fit me in between clients, and I accepted that. Monica, my hairdresser, asked the owner for the formula for my hair color and went to the back. When she applied the color, my scalp started to burn badly. I told Monica, and she said it would go away, but I had never experienced that kind of burning before. To make things worse, the final color was completely wrong—much darker than the chocolate shade I usually get. My scalp was extremely dry and irritated afterward. During the hair wash, water ran down my back and left me soaked. I was supposed to get a blow-dry, but instead, she sat me under a dryer and said it would help because my hair was long. But it was obvious she did this just to take another client. After waiting too long, I had to leave without my hair properly finished. The entire experience was unprofessional, rushed, and uncomfortable. I felt like Monica had to follow whatever the owner said, and there was no concern for my comfort or satisfaction. Very poor service—I will not be returning
