Visited this store with mom & gma and the experience was soooo uncomfortable it was insane. My mom and i were in the skincare’s section when this young gentleman approached us asking if we needed any help, i said politely we were okay, however he decided to initiate conversation regarding a product i had in my hand, which i awkwardly continued to have, mid convo another worker approaches him, cuts him off, whispers something and she just takes him place and tries to continue the conversation with me, again i said i didn’t need any help and the lady STILL DID NOT MOVE. I kept checking things out for maybe 10secs when she says again says something about the product i had in my hand, at that point i decided to leave and not buy anything.
My point is that i felt harassed, profiled and superr awkward visiting this store. In what world would employees think its okay to be all up in their customers face making sure they dont “steal” , literally same energy as “hurry up and buy” disgusting, i hope someone (potential customers) takes the time to read this and avoid this store, im pretty sure theres an Ulta near by.
I have been an Sephora Insider and reviewer for quite some time. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review of the CS received at this well known store and it location. In the many years I have shopped, I never had a negative experience but today. I wanted to purchase a gift set and the sales person did make sure to find me the product but not the gift set. Neither the person helping this sales person -who went to the back to find said product not the gift set-offered to help place an order or to locate the gift set at another store closer to my home. I have purchased the GIFT Set I wanted and by the store near me. It is quite disappointing when I was ready to purchase, travelled a distance, but had to do it online on my own-which maybe I should do from now on. I expected more from the CS at this store and at this location.

To be profiled is insane. Had at least 6 people come up to me asking for help when I said no. I understand trying to stop theft, but profiling is not the way. I went to buy my last minute Christmas list and ended up just leaving. Will buy at Ulta instead. They didn’t ask any other non POC people if they needed assistance. Mind you, it was back to back workers asking. Do better.

The customer service is great here and specially the girl Delani. She is such a sweet heart and because of a small inconvenience she gave us two free gifts.
AMANDA ! AMANDA ! AMANDA !!! Amazing representative at the Menlo Mall locations. I made the mistake of going into Sephora on Black Friday but bumping into Amanda changed my whole demeanor. It was alot going on, crowds, people bumping and rushing and it was feeling very overwhelming. Amanda stopped and was so helpful, and considerate, knowledgable and very patient in helping me find a new power foundation. Her suggestion was spot on and bcz you didn't have the color I needed she found it at the Sephora near me. Exceptional Customer Service, thank you Amanda !!!
