  Have had a few good experiences here that really redeemed Sephora for me. Was recently helped by Dani and she was awesome. Didn’t try to upsell me at all(refreshing), asked some clarifying questions to be sure she knew what I was looking for, and gave me tips on how to use the product as well. Was so helpful I decided to ask about something else I’d been considering, where originally I just wanted to be in and out and not bother. In makeup stores I’ve found plenty that try to prey on potential insecurities by pointing out this or that that you weren’t asking for help with, with the aim to be to sell more for the sake of commission. Most of Edgewater Sephora has been refreshing in that realm, because of the lack of that. Makes for a much more comfortable experience.

  Although on the smaller size there are still some high end brands available. The lower tax and the surroundings stores like target and t.j.maxx also make it great for a one stop shop.

  This is a superior Sephora! Andrea and then Karen both allowed me to ask questions and be so curious and gave amazing suggestions of all price points, which I thought was very kind and thoughtful! The whole store was very tidy and even the testers were clean (which isn’t always the case).

  It was by far the most disappointing Sephora experience I’ve ever had. The store wasn’t busy at all, yet no one greeted me as I walked around looking for a specific lipstick brand. I didn’t think much of it at first, but as I was leaving — after realizing they didn’t even carry the brand — I noticed something that really bothered me. An employee greeted other customers who were entering and leaving, yet when I passed by, she just looked at me without saying a word. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly quite offended. For a brand that prides itself on service and inclusivity, this location fell far short. I wouldn’t want to return there again. If the staff can’t even offer a basic greeting, that’s not a place I’d ever want to step into again.
