  Had a great experience with stylist Anthony. He made me feel so comfortable. He was thorough in asking what I wanted to make sure we were on the same page. Anthony was also great at communicating throughout of what he was doing so I wasn’t surprised. He did an amazing job with my hair giving me exactly what I asked for. My hair looked and felt so much better

  Too expensive they charged me $40 for a blow dry, I'm a senior citizen and I asked for the price and they said $25.00.

  Not impressed. The stylist was super friendly but my hair only lasted a day. So for the money I didn't think it was worth it.

  I wasn't even sure whether or not I was going to write a review but after sleeping on it,I decided I had too. I made an appointment with this JCPENNEY Salon in the Deptford mall, when I arrived I wasn't greeted, the receptionist actually looked shocked that I was there, and the stylist the gave me never said a word to me until about 20 minutes into my appt. Now let me just say I've gotten my hair highlighted for the past 15 years, I know down to a science the procedure, when I sat in the chair the manager and my stylist we're both discussing what to do to my hair...this was alarming because I've never have heard a hair stylist being basically coached ghrough what to do on MY head. I was never given a color book to show them the color I wanted or asked how I would like them styled, instead the manager asked what color I get, I said very blonde. They then came back, the girl who I could tell was new started placing highlights on my head. While these are being placed on my head I said to her " my hair needs longer under the dryer I always stay 15-20 min, my hair is healthy and can handle it. I set my own timer, and she takes me out from under the dryer at 3 minutes and 42 seconds. I figure that they must have some new bleach that doesn't need long to set because I'm trusting what is supposed to be a professional. She blow drys my hair And THERE IS LITERALLY A GIANT BROWN RECTANGLE on top of my head...., She did the highlights so far away from my scalp she made a rectangle. Oh my God, so I am livid. The manager comes in and fixes me . So now I have MORE foils in my hair and the manager tells this new woman named Annette to keep me under the dryer longer 15 MINUTES, AGAIN DOES WHAT SHE WANTS AND TAKES ME OUT EARLY, washes, and drys AGAIN AND HERE WE GO MY HEAD HAD SPOTS , DIFFERENT blonde SHADES OF SPOTS. WHY ? BECAUSE SHE DIDNT LISTEN. I was honestly holding back and had her get the manager again. She then puts a toner on my head , washes drys and my hair is CARMEL ...dark blonde. NOT AT ALL WHAT I WANTED. AND I STILL HAVE SPOTS. THE ONLY READOM THRY GOT 1 STAR IS BECAUSE THRY DIDNT CHARGE FOR THE TONER OR THE EXTRA HIGHLIGHTS AND GAVE 20% OFF. In reality they should have made me pay for just the 1st set of product and foil. I will absolutely NEVER go there , and would absolutely NEVER recommend anyone go there.
