  My daughter has gotten her ears pierced two others times and got an infection. We needed a safer reliable and nickel free place. We picked Rowan because they have a nurse assisted piercing and nickel free earrings with flat backs. Nurse Michelle was fantastic and helped keep my girl calm. It was an excellent experience.

  I highly recommend Rowan in Closter. My 8-year-old was finally ready to get her ears pierced, and knowing that the piercings are performed by a nurse immediately gave me peace of mind that everything would be done safely and professionally. Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my daughter—calm, cheerful, and incredibly reassuring. She turned what could have been a stressful moment into a positive and even fun experience. My daughter feels confident and looks amazing in her new earrings! It was truly such a pleasant experience from start to finish.

  The nurse who pierced my ears was very impatient, did not take the time to make them look symmetrical, and even refused to adjust them after I had asked her to for the third time. Like hello I’m paying for this service?? Rowan is a pretty store but that’s about it.

  We had an incredible experience here getting my daughter’s ears pieced at the Rowan in Closter Plaza. Becky and the team of nurses were fantastic! They made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience .i highly recommend visiting this location if you are looking to have a piercing done. We had such a fun time and my daughter is. So happy with her new piercings. We can’t wait to come back!!

  Would give 0 stars if I could. We arrived and were told that they will check on inventory for the earrings we selected. The manager then went on explaining to my 10 year old how they use a hollow point needle to pierce her ears and other 'legally' required disclosure to her and she started to tear up and became so scared that she no longer wanted to do it. Imagine telling a 10 year old...'hollow bore sterilized needle...', she has no idea what half of the words meant! She's 10. You need to really work on your delivery and how you present 'required legal disclosures'. It felt very transactional and this is supposed to be an exciting time and your job was to help her feel welcome and comfortable- which you clearly did not do!! To make matters worse, Becky started to laugh as we walked out! You need to do better!!! I do not recommend this business especially for their poor customer service and terrible manager, Becky!
