  Do not at any cost get your child’s ear’s pierced here. They were beyond rude and intolerant to my daughter plus incredibly racist pretending they don’t understand a simple accent and basic questions resulted in being kicked out. DO NOTTTT GO HERE!!!

  Dominque at Rowan was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding with my toddler daughter, who was very nervous and didn’t want to get her ears pierced at first. She took her time, reassured her, and never made her feel rushed or pressured. Thanks to her calm and caring approach, she eventually felt comfortable enough to go through with it. The whole experience turned out to be much more positive than I expected. We’re so grateful for her kindness and professionalism—highly recommend!

  I rarely write reviews, but I feel customers should be aware of what happened during my visit today. I brought my 12-year-old daughter in for her third ear piercings. At the start, we were told the piercings would need to be done with a needle rather than the gun, which already felt like an unnecessary upsell. My daughter chose star earrings priced at $88 each which was already a stretch for a kid. While I was on the other side of the store, the nurse told my daughter that only one star was available. My daughter was then guided to choose a mismatched set. She told the nurse, "if you have a moon I will get that." The nurse grabbed the moon and we went in the back. The piercing experience itself was pleasant, and the staff member was competent and nice. However, when I went to check out, I was shocked to learn the total was over $450! For 3rd holes for a 12-year-old! When I reviewed the itemized bill, I discovered the moon earring cost $228, which is $140 more than the star my daughter originally selected! I was never informed of this significant price difference before the jewelry was placed in my daughter’s ear. Had I been told, I would never have approved the substitution! Customers should be aware that you can be charged an extraordinary amount of extra money and have little ability to do anything about it at checkout once the jewelry is already in place. I do not believe it is appropriate or fair to disclose such a large price increase only after a non-returnable item has been used in a piercing. Clear pricing and parental consent should happen beforehand. I emailed the store to tell them of my experience and they response with a standard corporate, AI written response as will be the response to this review. "We strive to be as transparent as possible about all piercing fees, jewelry prices, and additional add-ons during your service, so there are no surprises at checkout. Pricing details are available on our booking page so customers can know what to expect before their visit." Oh, so customers are supposed to look at your website before coming in to get pierced and memorize all available options and prices prior to coming into you store? So when my daughter said she wanted a moon instead of a star, I was supposed to just know that they were going to offer me the 14k gold diamond encrusted one that was $140 more than the one I asked for. Got it. This store is a scam and a gimmick. I regret not going to another piercing place in the mall where we would have had the same result for a quarter of the price.
