  Just six weeks ago, I was desperate and in constant pain. I was suffering from a post-stroke migraine condition, resulting in a 24/7 headache and chronic fatigue. Working with my neurologist at Lahey Hospital over the course of several months, we had identified a regimen of meds that somewhat reduced the severity of the headaches but not the chronic nature of the condition. The next logical step was to try medical Botox injections, but they didn't have any available appointments for several weeks. I couldn't believe I was being told to wait more than a month to try a treatment that had no guarantee to provide any relief at all! Meanwhile, every day that went by, my situation was feeling more urgent for multiple reasons -- not just because of the chronic pain, but also because the fatigue was intensifying day by day, and the specter of transitioning from short-term disability to long-term disability at work (and the associated financial risk for my family) was only a few weeks away. After confirming with other local providers that there was no sooner availability for the same treatment, my wife and I agreed the we had to start thinking "outside of the box." A dear friend recommended that we reach out to Lindsay at Elite Medical Spa, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience providing medical Botox. Lindsay answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns, and was willing to make time to see me within a few days. And although my neurologist initially had reservations about me seeking treatment at a med spa, he fully signed off on the plan once he understood the scope of Lindsay's expertise and experience, and the fact that she would only proceed with the treatment if we received his permission and if she were able to coordinate care with my providers. I can't say enough about the care I received from Lindsay. She listened attentively to my entire medical history (which is extensive), asked questions, and made me feel like I was the only patient she cared about that day. She performed an comprehensive evaluation, and answered all my remaining questions. At no point did I ever feel rushed. She fully prepared me for the treatment, which by then I was eager to receive. I could feel the relief immediately, even as she was performing the injections! It felt miraculous. After months of debilitating pain, I had forgotten what it was like to have only a slight manageable headache without any migraine symptoms. I felt like I was floating back to my vehicle, with that weight lifted off my shoulders. That treatment was life-changing. After that, I was able to to re-focus on intensive post-stroke PT to build back the strength, balance, and coordination I had lost over the previous months. Using Lindsay's detailed notes and the results of that first treatment, my providers were able to plan out my continuing care at Lahey Hospital. And I've been able to get back to work before having to transition to long-term disability. None of that would have been possible without the excellent and timely care I received at Elite Medical Spa.

  I got a Diamond Facial at Elite Medical Spa, and Lauris did an absolutely amazing job! My problematic skin looked incredible after just one facial. She took the time to explain each step of the process, recommended products that were truly suited for my skin, and even helped me understand the root causes of my acne. What I loved most is that Lauris didn’t just try to sell me anything — she only recommended what I actually needed and explained how and why each product would help. Her expertise and professionalism made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the whole experience. The overall vibe of the spa was incredible too — the balance, décor, and atmosphere were all so well put together. It’s such a calming, relaxing environment from the moment you walk in. I left feeling refreshed, glowing, and so much more confident in my skin. I highly recommend Lauris and Elite Medical Spa — I’ll definitely be back!
