- NANatalie AdamsJan 4, 20241.0Discussed in advance what I wanted & stylist said she understood and we set appt for next day. Came in next day and things started with young stylist nearby dropping f-bomb then announcing she hadn't showered.... ?? Ew. Then my stylist was abrasive in her insistence to cut 4-6" off, used a brush that hurt, then called me tender scalped. At that moment I started to leave, but had so liked her the day before that I decided to try and salvage the situation.... It was 4 hours of frustration, her wanting to cut more, her calling me difficult, telling me my hair will look bad if I dont cut it, etc. Then instead of the chin length bangs, she cut 3" bangs....tried to find pic to fix things but then I ended up with a mullet, with approx 6" off bottom, but then 5-6" diff between sides and back.... i even asked 2nd stylist if she thought pic was doable and wd look good, she said yes. What should have been long, loose layers ended up choppy sides & top with straight back. 4.5 years to grow it to my bum, it will take 2 years or more to grow it to what I wanted. Did see several other people leave with cute styles, and my stylist was nice when she saw I wasnt happy, but end of day, I had more than enough hair for style I liked, now I dont.
