Kami at Rowan was amazing! She made sure that both kids were comfortable before piercing their ears. When it was time for the little one, Kami asked her if she wanted both ears pierced at the same time. So thoughtful!!!! Highly recommend… especially for kiddo’s first piercing.

Great experience for my little girl's first ear piercing. The ladies up front were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Our technician, I do apologize I'm horrible with names, was perfect! She fully explained and talked us through the whole procedure. Entire visit was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing!

I met Lacy at the nail salon and she motivated me to get new piercings that I’ve been wanting for so long. I had the absolute best experience getting my third lobes and conch. The staff were phenomenal helping me pick the jewelry! Jordyn was thorough with explaining not only the process, but aftercare as well! I was nervous with the conch, but it was surprisingly painless! Thank you for taking good care of me. Obsessed with my stack! ✨🫶🏻 Now I’m already thinking what’s next!

I recently had a very disappointing and honestly painful experience with Rowan Piercing after getting my conch pierced on March 13th. I chose this location thinking it would be a clean, professional environment with quality jewelry—but unfortunately, that was not my experience. From the start, the jewelry they used was not appropriate for a fresh cartilage piercing. The post they initially inserted was too short to accommodate normal swelling. As someone who has always gone to professional tattoo shops for piercings, I immediately noticed something felt off, as I’ve never had this kind of reaction before. By March 20th, I had to return due to swelling and discomfort, and they replaced the post with a longer one. However, the situation only worsened. The very next day, my ear became even more swollen, and the pain intensified significantly. I returned again on March 21st with severe discomfort and noticeable swelling in the lymph node behind my ear—something that is not normal for a properly done piercing. Instead of addressing the issue appropriately, the staff repeatedly dismissed my concerns, saying it was just “healing agents building up with nowhere to go.” This explanation felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the level of pain and visible inflammation I was experiencing. To make matters worse, I was charged $160 for the piercing, including a $20 cleaner that they strongly push you to purchase if you want any flexibility with jewelry changes. In reality, proper aftercare (like saline) is fairly universal, and their product did not provide any noticeable benefit. After they refused to offer any refund or accountability, I sought a second opinion from a trusted professional, Cassidy at Ironwood Ink. She immediately identified the core issue: the initial jewelry was not sized correctly for swelling, which caused trauma to my ear. She replaced the jewelry with higher-quality materials and appropriate sizing—and within 24 hours, I experienced noticeable relief. The swelling began to go down, my lymph node reduced in size, and the pain significantly improved. She also advised me to stick with simple saline, rather than the cleaner sold by Rowan. At this point, due to the trauma caused by improper jewelry sizing, I may now need to see a doctor and potentially take antibiotics—an issue that could have been entirely avoided with proper technique and care from the beginning. What should have been a straightforward $50–$100 piercing has now turned into a $200+ experience, not including potential medical costs—all because of preventable mistakes. The lack of accountability, refusal to refund, and dismissive attitude toward legitimate complications is extremely concerning. This is not the level of professionalism or care anyone should expect when trusting someone with a body modification. I was initially drawn in by the aesthetic and atmosphere, but I will not be returning. I strongly recommend saving your money and going to an experienced, reputable piercer like Cassidy at Ironwood Ink. In my experience, she not only knows what she’s doing, but she also stands behind her work and genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being. Bottom line: avoid Rowan Piercing at Village Pointe if you value proper technique, quality jewelry, and professional aftercare. *ATTACHED PHOTOS OF MY BOTHERED EAR, along with my UNBOTHERED ear for reference.

My daughter had her 2nd and 3rd ear piercings done at Rowan in December, and we had a great experience. We made an appointment (definitely recommend, especially on busy evenings). The nurse was wonderful—she explained everything clearly, helped ease my daughter’s nerves, and was incredibly thorough with cleanliness. The space was spotless, and she changed her gloves multiple times. When one of the piercings didn’t sit quite right, she immediately redid it, which I really appreciated. We returned a few months later for help removing the earrings, and they were just as helpful—showing us how to do it properly and checking that everything was healing well. Highly recommend—this experience is far beyond what you’d get at a typical mall kiosk.
