Well, I recently went to the Whispering Pines location and received a cut that I was very unpleased with. It was a short cut, shorter than I asked for, and my hair laid straight out like a stick. I cried and cried. It's vain but to most women our hair can change the way that we look at ourselves and all I could see was ugly looking back at me in the mirror. I called back to the salon and spoke with the manager, Serena. A few weeks after, I drug myself back and sat in Serena's chair. She was so kind, patient and understanding. There wasn't much she could really do with my hair but she worked her magic and I walked out with a smile. My 7 year old daughter (Amelia) happened to be with me as well, waiting patiently in a seat when Serena noticed her hair as well and we got into a conversation about that. Now, I have super fine, straight hair but my daughter has super THICK, curly hair that is a pain to manage and I genuinely had no idea how to manage. Serena not only made me feel beautiful again but also powerful! She gave me the knowledge that I desperately needed to know how to take care of her hair but also worked her sales magic and up sold me some products to do it right! I came in in tears but left with my heart full of love. I could tell that Serena not only loved hair but also the people sher serviced. Great Clips, you couldn't have a better manager! (I shouldn't have had to have paid for that corrective cut, in my opinion, but Serena was so amazing 🤩 that I didn't even want to say anything).
