I asked for my length to be shorter, and for it to NOT be undercut or thinned to make the bottom of my hair flat. I've asked for that before at other locations, and usually with good results. The stylist did undercut it, and the natural curl in the bottom of my hair is gone, until it grows out enough to get another haircut somewhere else.

Today I had someone different and it wasn’t good. I have pretty long hair and I wanted to cut it pretty short and get some bangs. As I tried to talk to my stylist and tell her about the issues I’ve been having with my hair, to gage what she thought as a stylist about the new style I wanted, she seemed completely uninterested in the slightest and I guess saw in my notes last time I only had a few inches and just said “4 inches off?” . I immediately knew by their lack of enthusiasm that I did not entrust her to do what I wanted - which was a big change, at all. So I just agreed to the few inches off so I could leave. She put the cape so tight on my neck it was really uncomfortable. She spent exactly 4 minutes on my hair and that’s literally it. It was really uncomfortable. I’m really glad though I trusted my gut and just let her take a few inches off, instead of what I actually wanted.
