I found Brush’d Salon through one of the stylists Sabrina’s tik toks, she was offering $30 blowouts for girls in the Charlotte area. I messaged her to see how much a hair cut would be and it was the same price, blowout included. The experience could not have been any better. The salon is so beautiful, nice and clean. Staff was so friendly, especially Sabrina. She made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in the door. The shampoo was amazing- included a neck rub. She cut my hair exactly how I asked her to and it looked amazing. I left with shiny, glossy, voluminous freshly blown out hair and all for $30! Amazing! 10/10 experience- will be back for sure 💗

I went in on a Saturday for a full balayage and haircut with Trea. After sitting in the chair for three hours, I was honestly just ready to leave and didn’t inspect everything as closely as I should have. Unfortunately, once I washed my hair at home, the issues became very obvious. The highlight color was inconsistent throughout my hair—particularly the ends and sections in the back, where the toner clearly didn’t adhere properly, leaving noticeable variation in color. Even more concerning was the haircut itself. It was uneven, with chunks of hair significantly longer than others. I called the salon to have it corrected. The receptionist who answered seemed irritated and had to check with the owner before fitting me in. When I came back, I was assigned to Amber who didn’t seem happy to be fixing the issue. Rather than acknowledging the mistakes, she offered excuses for why the result turned out the way it did. Maybe Trea didn’t part your hair correctly (I parted it for her), maybe she put the toner on and your hair was too wet so it diluted it… I told Amber very clearly I wanted my hair to be all the same length. I left with angles in the front. What was most disappointing was that no one ever apologized—not for the quality of the work or for the inconvenience of having to come back in. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and customer service made this a frustrating experience. I had high hopes but left feeling disappointed.

We adore the work that Amber did on our daughter’s hair today. Amber did a beautiful job of highlighting, cut and conditioning a long mane of hair. My daughter feels like a brand new girl! We have been thrilled with the work of all stylists/colorists at Brush’d that have worked on our daughter’s hair. From time to time we have had to schedule with different stylists due to scheduling restraints and we have been very pleased with the work of each and every one. We are so thankful to have her hair in such good hands.

I’ll start by saying that the salon itself is nice and the staff is friendly. Caroline did a good job on my hair and I do like how it turned out. However, the pricing completely ruined the experience. I was charged an extra $20 because my appointment went 15 minutes over. How is that the client’s fault? I showed up on time and had no control over how long the stylist took. Being penalized for that feels unreasonable and honestly just like a way to squeeze more money out of customers. I ended up paying $90 for a trim and blow out, which is extremely overpriced. It’s frustrating because the service itself was good, but the pricing practices feel unfair and leave a bad impression. I would definitely think twice before coming back because of this.
