  I just want to take this time to thank Thabitha for the wonderful work that she did on my hair. She radiates kindness and the nature of God. I felt at home in her chair, she spoke to me as a person and respected my questions and wishes. She wasn’t forceful in her opinions and gave great advice on haircare and future hair styles. I’m so honored to have had Tabatha touch my hair. I’ll tell people that my hair was TOUCHED BY TABITHA

  Would give this salon a 0 star if it was possible. My hair stylist had no idea what she was doing. Paid $230 for a botched balayage and had to go to another salon to actually get a professional to fix the mess that was made. Absolutely horrendous.

  Very disappointed. My wife is pregnant and was hoping to get her hair done so she could feel pretty and refreshed. We do not have a ton of money. My wife attends her appointment with a stylist at this location. From the beginning it was bad and went downhill the whole way. The stylist chopped my wife’s hair off, cutting it extremely short, she began cutting without even confirming what length my wife wanted. Did not correctly do the highlights so the color came out wrong and after confirming price upfront with the stylist and the manager/Owner the stylist attempted to try to charge my wife $150 more than what was agreed to, quoting that services had changed halfway through and then proceeded to try to gaslight my wife into thinking that this was OK. Original price was roughly $340 After this “change of services” that was never discussed or agreed on, the price was now close to $500. Again we do not have a ton of money and I was hoping to do something nice for my pregnant wife. My wife is sad and confused. Not happy with her hair and we are out hundreds of dollars while we wait for the owner to call us after the weekend…not feeling very serene.

  I absolutely loved my experience! This was my first time coming. I had been at the same salon for 20 years and when I moved to Franklinton, i was looking for a new salon. I'm so glad I found Serenity! I was greeted so warmly and I loved my coffee and the calm relaxing atmosphere was perfect. Naisha was absolutely amazing! She was so patient, calm and detail-oriented. She listened to exactly what I was looking to do even though I didn't know exactly what I wanted, she helped me figure it out and gave me the exact cut and recommendations for my needs. I appreciate her patience, her kindness and sweet spirit. I have found my new home for hair care! I found out they also do nail care so I will be coming in for that as well! Thank you for a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back... maybe for another 20 years! Tracie N.

  I went to this salon about 4 times since the summer, and each time has been worse than the last. I reached my breaking point a couple weeks ago when I waited over 20 minutes after my appointment time before getting called back, without so much as an explanation. It quickly became very clear that my stylist was still with another client. She shampooed me and told me she was leaving the shampoo on for “2 minutes.” Roughly 10 minutes later, she finally returned to rinse my hair. I told her my scalp was getting itchy and she asked if I was allergic to the product….no, I’ve just never had shampoo left on my hair for over 30 seconds before. She put the conditioner in and told me another “2 minutes” and was again gone for over 10. I was at the salon for nearly 2 hours for a simple haircut. The stylist “teased” me about the way I care for my hair yet offered no suggestions. She didn’t listen to my concerns and when I mentioned she cut the front too short, she offered a suggestion on how to style it so it didn’t look as short. I’ve since canceled my next appointment and have found a new salon. Nothing but bad experiences with this business from day 1 when I went in for a consultation and they lied to me about how the stylist had to rush away for an emergency. The stylist later told me they knew she had to leave early hours before my appointment, yet didn’t call me to reschedule. Go with your gut - I should have months ago.
