- LLLilyMar 28, 20265.0Used the app to check in and it was very quick. I was only seated for maybe 30 seconds before they called me up. My stylist, Shelly, was wonderful and helpful! She gave me all the styling advice I would need for the look I wanted. Will be going back :)
- SMSummer McNabbMar 22, 20261.0I brought my 1.5 year old here for a haircut and wouldn’t recommend it to other parents of small children. The stylist wasn’t patient with my son, she was getting visibly frustrated that my son was moving around. It got to the point that I felt like I needed to remind her he is only 18 months old. Stylist made the comment “welp I wasn’t finished with that side, but he turned so I guess we will just do what we can”. She sprayed a conditioner water mixture in his face that got in his eyes and made him cry. Feeling so disappointed with our experience after reading so many nice reviews. This is my son’s 5th haircut and the first time he has ever left screaming with an uneven haircut. Photo attached is AFTER combing it down :(

- SYS YatesFeb 5, 20261.0Terrible customer service. One lady was horrible and acted as if we were in the way while she was cleaning up and trying to leave only one worker there with a waitlist. She was obviously upset complaining about other workers not coming to work and acting as if they conspired to not be there on purpose. That’s not our fault…. I asked if we should leave and she said, it’s up to you, I just clocked out. The lady who stayed back alone, ended up cutting my son’s hair and is wonderful and I’m very thankful we got her but, the other one, please do better with your customer service. If my 8 y/o son can feel your tension, that’s pretty bad. Do better! I also emailed the customer service email and I hope this issue gets addressed.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
