- BHBrittanie HydeFeb 22, 20261.0Horrible experience! We had to leave without a haircut today. I took my autistic son to get his haircut today, but the stylist was really rude and impatient. She told me she couldn’t cut his hair. I tried to offer some ideas to help, but they didn’t want to hear them. The hairstylist would turn the clippers on, my son would get scared, so she would turn them off and would just stand there starring at him, and would look back at her manager and roll her eyes. The manager came over and asked what was happening. I told her that he’s autistic, and I’m trying to keep him calm, she said “he’s being too difficult and we can’t cut his hair”. When I got home, I was very upset, I told my husband what happened. He contacted the salon and got their names. The manager was Shay and the stylist name was Hills (not sure if the names they gave us are accurate or not) in the moment I was so upset, I didn’t even think of getting their names.
- CCCody CraverFeb 22, 20261.0My wife and 2 yr old autistic son went to get his haircut this morning and (Hills) the stylist that was going to cut his hair, rolled her eyes and acted as if my son should just get over the fact that the sound of the clippers scared him. The manager (Shay) then came over and told my wife and son that they were refusing them service because my child was being difficult and they wouldn’t be able to cut his hair. My wife tried to ask if she could help and comfort him as well as sit with him while he got a haircut to calm him down she was told no they couldn’t cut his hair that way. There was no patience or empathy from Hills or Shay as my wife and son were just told they couldn’t receive a haircut, I don’t think they should offer haircuts to kids if they are too “difficult” for the staff, or maybe these two individuals should be given a lesson in customer service as well as how to treat customers and children. Especially the ones who have a harder time getting a haircut than others.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
