  I like makeup and I like Sephora. Sephora has been one of my favorite makeup stores for a while . I liked them so much I applied for a job there and when I went in Sephora in Kohls , I said oh they needed me, they should've hired me because the customer service I received was awful. I received no help on the floor. I was waiting to check out for 10 -15 minutes with no acknowledgement at all. No hello, sorry for your wait , but proceeded to continue to look at the people behind me (unless she was cross-eyed) and say " I'll be right with you!" As if I didn't exist. I guess you really have to look a certain way to get assistance or be acknowledged. She acted like I wasn't next in line. It wasnt a good experience for me at this particular location and I'd rather not go back.

  I had a disappointing experience with an employee named Asiyat. I asked a simple question about a product and was met with a very mean, dismissive attitude. It made me uncomfortable and discouraged from asking for help. Customer service is a big part of the Sephora experience, and this interaction really missed the mark.

  Unusually rude responses from the person at the counter while I was enquiring about the fragrances and gift sets. I'd never want to go back with this experience. Shame on you !

  On Friday 10/31/2025 at 7:30pm I went into the store to buy me some pants and shirts. As I walked towards the men's wear section, a male employee walked in the same general direction and stopped like 10 feet or so around where I had stopped at to look at some pants. He acted like he was 'working' checking out something but then left after a short while. I didn't think much of it because he didn't engage me or even said hello nor asked if I needed any help finding something. I went on with my shopping and ended up selecting two pants and three shirts which I had put VISIBLY on my shoulder to go fit. Just before I could proceed to the fitting room, another female employee came to where I was, said hello making sure she made eye contact. She also didn't ask whether I needed help. She acted like she was working on organizing the stuff for like 30 seconds and left This time it dawned on me they were following me around like I wanted to steal. I decided to not try out the clothes. I put them on some surface as I walked out. I can't give my money to an establishment that treats me like a thief. NEVER again

  Asiyat was incredibly helpful and professional — she recommended new products, gave great advice, and found an individual approach to my needs. She was very kind and made my shopping experience wonderful!
