  Was looking for the closest store, North lake showed. When I got to the mall the store was gone!!

  0/10! I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS STORE! As a professional makeup artist, I was mistreated so poorly by the beauty advisor & manager (the one man with the eyebrow piercing). I took my 4 nieces inside with me to get my oldest niece a shade match. I wanted her to have the experience of shopping high end makeup even though I COULD’VE done it myself, I also wanted to buy her the danessa myrics foundation as a suprise for her (which I didn’t even find). Upon entrance, there was no greeting. I thought “mhm, weird, but maybe it’s just because it’s almost 30 mins until closing.” I proceeded to look for the brand and still no greeting and no approach for assistance. At that point I was upset because several others (most Caucasian couples) came in and she helped them with no pressure. I did my own shade match with haus of labs, afterwards, I cleaned off a lipstick tester so my younger nieces could try it on for fun (this was at 8:45pm). I reminded my girls that we had to end our trip soon because they were about to close, before I could finish my sentence… the beauty advisor approached us, finally, and the first thing that came out of her mouth was “are y’all almost done? We’re closing soon.”. Instantly, I’m pissed off because HOW RUDE???? I told her “I know y’all are about to close and you just heard me tell them so what was your point of coming to us and saying that???” She walked off with no response. To be petty, I stayed until 8:59, the male manager goes “y’all can leave if you’re not buying anything”. I let him know that they didn’t have to be rude and nasty about it, that we were going to purchase when we first arrived but the horrible experience from the advisor deterred it. I could’ve been nasty and cursed them out or even let my nieces run around and damage all their equipment… but I didn’t and I never had that intention to. I believe I was stereotyped and racially profiled by them both, but especially from the advisor. Sephora should really reevaluate her employment. I just resigned my beauty advisory position with another place so I know her approach should have been “did you guys need help with anything…” at the very least but instead we got “are you almost done?” I’m disgusted and I will make sure this gets escalated.
