- APAnkita Patel3 days ago1.0I had a really disappointing experience at Great Clips. The hairstylist didn’t even bother to wet my hair before starting the cut, which already felt unprofessional. I showed her an inspiration picture, and instead of trying to understand or recreate the look, she dismissed it by saying “it’s not a cut, it’s a style.” That response alone showed a lack of interest and effort. The entire appointment felt rushed and careless. She barely cut anything—I honestly see no difference in my hair after the appointment. It felt like she just wanted to get it over with rather than actually provide a proper service. For something as basic as a haircut, I expected at least minimal attention and technique, but this was far from it. Definitely not worth the time or money. I wouldn’t recommend this location based on my experience.

Didn't trim the front and cut the top too short. They do a good-enough job for my son, but I'm not going back for me.

However, we ended up waiting a full hour, and only one customer got their haircut during that time. Normally, on Sundays, Great Clips locations have at least 3–4 stylists working, but this location had only one person on duty. The lady working there was polite but extremely slow, and after finishing with one customer, she spent nearly 10 minutes chatting instead of moving to the next client. I kindly request that Great Clips management assign more stylists on weekends to avoid such long waiting times. This was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the brand’s usual good reputation

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
