- HHHopsiesMar 17, 20262.0I’m honestly really upset about my experience. I asked for two inches trimmed, and the stylist cut over three inches off my hair. My hair was at tailbone length, and I’m very careful about who I let cut it, so losing that much length was extremely upsetting. I understand that stylists often want to remove damaged ends for the sake of “health,” but when a client clearly asks for a specific amount to be cut, that request should be respected. My hair was simply picked up and cut straight across with no layering, shaping, or texturing, which left it looking blunt and unfinished. The stylist was nice, and the location itself was clean with a short wait time, but the haircut itself was incredibly disappointing. I was honestly so shocked when I saw how much length was gone that I burst into tears and had to leave. If you have long hair past your shoulders, I would strongly recommend going to a stylist who specializes in long hair and discussing very clearly how much length you’re willing to lose.

- JWJustin WisdomFeb 4, 20261.0It’s just frustrating when you use the online services, and plan your timing and trip accordingly, only to get to the store, look at the screen and see I’m at the number 1 position and still sat there for almost 45 mins while 2 people cut in front of us, no explanation from the workers. Sit down to get my haircut and am met with a rude lady asking me questions I have no idea about. I try to converse and I’m met either more rudeness. She then butchered the heck out of my hair. It’s like being in a restaurant and the food is wrong, you’re scared to send it back for retaliation. My hair is messed up now and I can’t go back there and get it fixed, which means now I have to go get another haircut at a very pricey cost again. Oh, and the icing on the cake was, the barber asked me if I had my haircut there last time cause it was messed up, like seriously? That wasn’t the first time experiencing a crappy time there, but, definitely done with Great Clips. I’d show pics, but too embarrassed to.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
