Looks like the hairstylist who cut my son’s hair this afternoon 3/31/26 does not know how to cut a hair! Im very disappointed!!! It looks like a joke!!! Now my son’s confidence is even more down because of his haircut. This is not our first time coming here and we don't have a problem with other stylist. They always make a note of how he would like his hair to be cut and the lady did not pay attention. I don't think she has an experience cutting hair. Pictures uploaded and see for yourself of how bad the cut was.

And works in different salons and I want her to be my hairdresser but it's truly a pain calling all over to try to find out where she'll be working....it could be Hillsborough, Carrboro, several stores in Ch Hill as well as Durham.
- AOamanda oakleyDec 16, 20252.0Firstly I want to say that I would've given 3 stars due to the fact that 1 of the 3 stylist I delt with on 12/13/25 was really good. Her name is Maria and she 100% deserves 5 stars! She was polite, knew what she was doing, and did exactly what 2 of my 3 kids wanted done to their hair... However.... the other 2 were clueless! 1 seemed drunk, didn't know how to spell, kept calling me Amber and not Amanda, and all sorts of stuff! Then there is the one who did my hair and my middle daughter's hair.... I showed her a reference photo for both of us and she didn't follow either of them! My daughter wanted shoulder length hair, curtain/butterfly bangs, and layers.... the only thing she got was the shoulder length... for me I wanted a "Bixie" aka a grown out pixie cut, instead she gave me a bob!!! A chin length very poorly cut Bob haircut! How does one look at a photo that was left open the whole time and still give someone the complete wrong haircut!? I even kept saying to go shorter, and she wouldn't listen, so I gave up, paid and walked out. This woman claimed to have been cutting hair for nearly 40+ years! Please do NOT have your hair cut by a woman named Diane! Only go to Maria if you can! I can honestly say it may be a long time before I go back there... unless I can guarantee to only get Maria.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
Yes, Great Clips offers three lines of its exclusively branded haircare and styling products for men, women, and kids, including Solutions by Great Clips®, Tea Tree Solutions by Great Clips®, and GRIT @ Great Clips™.
